(oh and I forgot too! Hope has a small barn owl named Leo.)
Ravenclaw Common Room [Closed]
(I'll start and leave it open for some last minute stragglers. I'm thinking that it's a couple days since the Choosing Ceremony, is that ok with y'all?)
//wait what’s the plot
(Yep)
(We all form a study group to help each other with subjects that others are weak in, defeat Voldemort, save the universe… etc etc;)
//fun
(Just the study group part for starters, we'll see where this goes.)
Jamie held up a piece of parchment with notes of The Goblin Revolution scribbled on it. How was she supposed to memorize all of these dates? If there was one thing Jamie wasn't good at, it was dates. And Professor Binns was the worst, though she had never said that aloud to anyone before.
Liia saw Jamie sitting on the couch and looking desperately at a sheet of parchment, so Liia decided to join her. “Hey. Bad study session?”
Lloyd sat silently in a corner of the common room, reading some random book he had found on the shelf. He had made a sort of rule for himself to stay in the common room if he wasn't eating, sleeping, or at class so he would be more social, but really the only difference was that he was reading in the common room instead of the dormitories.
Lynn walked out of the girl's dormitory. "I'm heading to the library. Does anyone want to go?"
Library? Lloyd looked up. It was his favorite place in the school, after all. But, I don't know these people… should I go?
Jamie jerked her head up, startled, to see a girl -Lila?- standing above her. "What? No. Yeah. History of Magic. I hate dates." She heard Lynn, a seventh year that Jamie had never really talked to, ask about going to the library. Without thinking, Jamie stood up.
“Oh. I hate that class. Binns is so… ahh, he’s the worst.”
"Yes!" Jamie agreed loudly, but clamped a hand over her mouth. "Can he hear us?" she asked, her voice muffled.
“Probably not. He sticks to his chair,” Liia smiled.
Jamie uncovered her mouth. "I've always been afraid of the teachers here. They're all pretty strict."
“Yeah. McGonagall tho. She’s nice but so flipping scary.”
"Oh, I like her the best!" Jamie chirped.
Hope saw the others walking out and called to them, "Guys! Are you heading to the library?"
“Yes!” Liia replied. “Coming?”
Lynn caught up to Hope. "What've you got for homework?"
"Absolutely!" Hope chirped skipping up to them. "I love the library."
"Hmm well. Quite a bit. Mostly History of Magic. How about you?"
(I gtg to be. See you guys tomorrow ^^)
Lloyd got up silently and followed a ways behind the group, tucking the book under his arm.
Liia said, “Transfiguration is my favorite.”
"I've got a couple of essays. One on the properties of Moonstones and the other on Constellations, and I've also got to work on my dream notebook."
"Oh yeah. I have to do those too. I'm not really a fan of divination personally. But I must say, it's kind of interesting sometimes."
( Wow thank you for waiting for me……..)
"Mine too! I love Charms and Potions and Herbology and Care of Magical Creatures, but I'm not very good at it…" Jamie added, realizing how social she was becoming. Unlike the boy trailing behind them. She dropped back to talk to him. "What's your name? I'm Jamie."
