Reboot of the Selection RP! (New peeps are cool too)

Alright, here's the reboot, as promised!
Everyone from the original is welcome to keep their characters or make new ones, I'll be using Talin again though.

Rules:

please be respectful of the others, your characters can be mean but please no irl hate

I'm not the grammar police and I will use abbreviations when I'm not rping so grammar isn't that big of a deal (Please do your best though)

I don’t think I’ll be able to do this one. There’s too many people, and my schedule makes me miss things when other people are more active. I’m sorry! I would have loved to, if it was a smaller group of people or a one on one. You guys have fun with it though!

Personality: Highly competitive, very modest about her looks and intelligence, acts dumber than she is, and she acts how the world perceives her. If it was up to her she would be rolling around in the mud doing things the lower castes get to do. She has no plans of winning at the moment but won't go down without a good fight. At times can be a bit motherly and helpful.
Background: As the youngest in her family her father, a highly ranked politician, has always glanced over her. Instead of choosing a 'reputable occupation for a two' she went to become a model. In her head, it was the easiest to enter and leave without much fuss. Because of this choice, along with flying rumors that Zaera was born from an unknown mistress, not the woman her father married, he had planned to marry her off as soon as possible. So Zaera grew up basically being treated like dirt and it has affected her mental image about herself and often influences her choices in how the world perceives her as well.
Family: A mother and a father, she is the youngest of seven sisters.

Personality: Talin is an interesting prince, he hates his classes that he's required to take, along with the meetings that he has to go to. He's very observant but doesn't really think things through before he says them. He can be quite sporadic and unpredictable, and he's very loyal to his family and close friends. He can be quite romantic, but doesn't want any relationships that go to far until he's found 'the one'

Appearance (Detailed, Links are welcome): She is short, about 5'2'', which a lot of people think is cute. She has short, chin-length brown hair, and skin that isn't olive, but it isn't pale, either. She's kinda cute, and very pretty, in that delicate, angelic way. She has deep, fathomless amber eyes, and wears colored contacts to hide it, because she is ashamed of it. She has plump, pink lips, and long, dark eyelashes. She has the long, twisting, twining black tattoo on her left arm, torso, and shoulder, so she always wears long sleeves.

Personality: During the day, Cress is the most innocent thing you could imagine. At least, it seems like it. She's sweet and kind and loving, and is great at making friends. She can be a huge nerd, and is truly passionate about the things she loves. She has a very calm head, but when she gets mad, she can be very scary. She is very loyal to her friends, and hates injustice. She can be like a sweet, cuddly teddy bear, and everyone instantly likes her. During the night, however, she is a monster. She has long known about the darker side of the world. She is scary, cold, collected and stoic, and doesn't care if she kills or harms anyone in her way.

Appearance (Detailed, Links are welcome): Zia has curly, dark hair that falls to her mid shoulders. She has lightly tanned skin, with a smattering of freckles across the bridge of her nose. She has bright green eyes. At only 5'1", she's very short, and she is, in addition, rather curvy, though she hides a decent amount of muscle beneath those curves. She doesn't have the greatest fashion sense, but does her best to dress nicely, in clean clothes.
Personality: Zia is typically rather happy, though she has a bit of a quick temper at times. She can also be a touch stubborn, though only for things she is truly passionate about. She loves beautiful things, though not to the point where she would waste money or anything on them. More of she enjoys looking at it. She really enjoys natural beauty, like mountains, rivers, etc, and is an avid hiker.
Background (Optional): From a more northern area where snow and ice is a bit more common in the winter

Appearance: Cassie has surprisingly glossy black hair despite all odds, not to mention stunning Egyptian blue eyes that are near impossible not to love. She has very fair skin dotted with freckles. Food is stretched pretty thin so she's very skinny for a girl her age.
Personality: She's been through hell so she's tough and very much a fighter. She's extremely sarcastic and has no problem standing up for herself even if it's smarter to just keep her mouth shut. She can be rather impulsive which can get her into trouble. But she can also be super sweet and caring since she's pretty much the mother of the house.
Background (Optional): Cassie is the oldest of 5 children and is pretty much the boss. Her father died when she was 4 years old and since then, her mother turned her love of her husband to a bottle of whiskey. Her younger brother Vincent is 17 and her younger sister Mariah is 15. However, her mother did go out and get knocked up by a man she wasn't married to so in order to not make her mother an Eight, they took on the twins that Cassie had to midwife at 6 years old as blood siblings even though they're technically stepsiblings. Luke and Reina are 13 with Luke being 4 minutes older as he loves to remind his twin sister. The only reason she entered the Selection was so that maybe she could get her family out of the hole that their mother dug them into.
Family: Her mother, her brother Vincent, her sister Mariah, and her technical stepsiblings Luke and Reina.
Other: She's a writer so she spends most of her time inside and has developed a rather wide imagination.
