Cade heard a shrill scream come from the main room. He jumped and slid off the counter, unlocking the bathroom door and sprinting out. "What happened?!"
Chelsea perked up, she knew that scream. Covered in blood she ran inside the house.
The world was so bright after being in that dark place. Willow touched her hair, expecting flowers.
Harper turned to Willow. "Willow? Or not Willow?" She asked softly.
"Willow." she hugged her knees. "For now." Willow could feel the insanity creeping back. "Enjoy it while it lasts."
Chelsea ran next to Willow. Chelsea saw Willow touching her hair, so Chelsea put one of the flowers that Willow gave to her earlier into her hair.

Cade stood out of the way, leaning against a wall. Ugh…I feel so out of place. All these girls know each other and here I am, the only boy, barely knowing their names…
Willow glanced at the boy. "Hello boy who dislikes me. Chelsea-friend, Blood-Girl, Scarling."
Chelsea started sobbing, again. The cuts in her palms started stinging again from the tears.

Boy who dislikes me…shoot. Do I come off that bad? Cade shook his head at her. "I don't dislike you." He stated simply.
Willow reached over and hugged Chelsea before shooting a look at the boy. "It's okay, you don't have to like me. I won't take it personally. I know I'm not likable. Just admit it."
Chelsea was happy, that her friend had lived.
Harper sat down, not sure what to do.

"You're fine. I don't dislike you." He stated once again, becoming more uncomfortable the longer Chelsea cried.

"Right." Willow said, sarcastically.
Scarlet could’ve melted with relief. “What happened?! How did the knife end up in your chest?!”
“She stabbed herself.” Chelsea said, glaring at Cade.
"That I did. But it didn't work." Willow sighed, "I'm still alive."
Scarlet choked. “What?!”
“Yeah and good ol Cade thought I stabbed her. I was covered in blood cuz Willow. And because my palms.”

Cade sighed, still leaning against the wall as he listened in on the conversation. Good ol Cade…huh…
Scarlet shook her head disbelievjngky, taking bite of Cade’s discomfort and making a plan to deal with it later. “Why would you do that to yourself?”
"Because there's nothing worse than going insane." Willow curled up. "My Nutmeg is dead. Because I ate him."
Scarlet fought the The to throw up. “You wouldn’t have consciously done that. And being dead is worse than being insane.”
"It's really not." Willow whispered, "You don't understand."
“I don’t.”, she admitted softly. “I’m sorry.”

He felt extremely uncomfortable. Figuring no one would miss him in this conversation, Cade headed back to the bathroom and shut the door behind him.
"As you should be." Willow sniffed.
Scarlet backed off. "Do you need alone time?"
