"We can walk to class together if you want!" Amethyst said as she stood up as well. She definitely enjoyed talking to Ryuu as well. He was someone that actually appreciated her existence unlike, it felt to her, everyone else.

"Really? Yeah that'd be great!" He says picking his tray up. He ran his fingers through his curly mess of hair. The blonde highlights stood out more at the moment as the sun was shining through the window at him.
Amethyst smiled and moved so Ryuu could put his tray away. She waited for him to do so before walking out of the cafeteria with him to their next class.

Once he put his tray away, he politely thanked the cooks with a smile as he always did. He walked over to Amethyst with a rather shy smile. "So what's your next class? Oh-wait sorry i think i already asked you that..did i?"
"Yeah, you did! It's the one we share, remember?" Amethyst replied sweetly with a smile. She started walking with him to their class.

"O-oh sorry" he says rubbing the back of his neck nervously. Soon they reached the classroom and opened the door for her.
"It's okay!" Amethyst replied as she went through the door, thanking Ryuu. The instant she got in the classroom, she scanned for Marigold.

Ryuu headed in afterwards and scanned for Marigold also. He spots her in the front flirting with some other guy. He let out a sigh of relief and looked to Amethyst with a small smile.
"Heck yeah! That guy she's flirting with is her boyfriend."Amethyst whispered to Ryuu as she spotted her as well. "So she will probably be to busy with him to worry about us. And if the teacher has him join a group or something, she'll probably volunteer and the teacher doesn't want a group of four so this is great!"

"Oh okay" he says with a little smile still on his face. He went to go sit in the chair near the back next to the wall.
Amethyst smiled back and went to sit back with Ryuu. She took the desk next to his. She waited for the teacher to start class as more students filled the classroom.

The teacher silently took attendance just by looking at who all was there. She looked down at the paper and then up at Ryuu with a confused face. Ryuu knew exactly what she was about to say.
She was the one teacher that could never remember, nor pronounce his name. "Uhm, Roo?" She says looking down at the paper then back at it. "No, it's Ryuu. You pronounce the Y. Sorry" he says awkwardly, stuttering every now and then. "Oh okay, my apologizes Ryuu," she says writing on the paper. Ryuu looked at Amethyst then back at the desk with a sigh. Just by his body language, you could tell this happened a lot. But they usually have more trouble with his last name.
Amethyst gave Ryuu a sympathetic look. She was glad her name was pretty easy to figure out since you only needed to sound it out to get it right. She waited until the teacher had finished and told the class to get back to their work to turn to Ryuu. She smiled at him, noticing that Marigold was, of course, to busy with that boy of hers.

Ryuu stood and got out the computer and sat back down with Amethyst. "Okay so forgive me but I don't think I got anything done yesterday," he says singing in and looking at his work from yesterday.
"Eh, it's okay, you had to worry about flower over there so I don't blame you. We just have to work extra hard today." Amethyst said with a giggle at calling Marigold "flower". She scooted over to sit next to Ryuu so it wasn't like he was doing everything.

"So uhm….what exactly we're we working on?" He asks turning to face her. It was just then when he realized she had scooted closer to him. Goodness….she was gorgeous!
His face turned red slightly. Though it was always a little red.
"Hmm, well, this paper…" Amethyst started saying as she grabbed a piece of paper from her backpack, "… has all the instructions for the assignment." She said, handing the paper to Ryuu.

"Oh okay. I take back saying that i like chemistry…." He says with a sigh
"Very, very true. I've never been a chemistry fan. Well, I don't really like science in general." Amethyst said as she looked through the paper again.

"Really? I find it intriguing and really cool. But not when i have to do a fifteen-page essay on them" he over-exaggerated with a sigh. He
"Yeah, it's never been my strong suit so it's not my favorite," Amethyst explained. She finished looking through the paper and sighed. "Well, we better get to work, there's quite a bit to do."

"Y-yeah…." He says as he pushes his glasses up and starts to type rapidly. He finished a single paragraph and the intro and turned the laptop to Amethyst. "Is it alright so far?"
Amethyst read it over and smiled. "Yeah, it's great! I'll write the next two paragraphs then we can switch off after each one maybe?" She said as she got ahold of the laptop so she could start on her part.

"Are you sure? I can do it if you'd like" he says with a concerned look. He was used to being in group projects and just doing them all for the others while they slacked off. And almost everyone in the school knew.
"Of course I'm sure! This is a group project, not a solo assignment." Amethyst assured Ryuu with a smile. She started typing and looking between research tabs.

"Okay" he says with a smile. He wasn't used to doing group projects as an actual group project.
Amethyst smiled and continued to work on the project. She never liked writing science stuff, even more than science in general.
