“I’d love to kick some ass!”, Oyoyo said, excitedly.

Jay's tail twitched delightedly at the positive responses. "It's gonna be great, guys, you won't regret it." (Unfortunately not right now probs as bedtime is real soon)

Ember then looked down, suddenly nervous. "Um… but before you start inviting me to events and all that, there's something you all should probably know," he said, scratching at the back of his neck.

“What is it?”, Oyoyo asked Ember.

Jay tilted his head; he didn't really know the guy, but if it was important he'd surely listen.

"I'm not exactly a boy. I'm biologically female…" he started. His palms were already sweaty and his voice was shaking. "A-and I'm taking hormone shots s-so that's why I look s-so much like an actual guy, and I- uh- just thought this was something you guys should know." He tried to calm his racing heart, and he started breathing quicker. "And I understand i-if this changes the way you think about me… I'm sorry," he said, looking down at his shoes.

"Dude, that's awesome!!" Aspen replied. "Guys are way cuter than girls, anyway. You made a good choice. God, I'm not good at motivational speeches, am i?" (gotta go for the weekend, going camping)

Ember smiled, still trembling. "Th-thanks Aspen," he said. "And you don't have to give me a motivational speech.. just please don't yell at me."
(Okay see you next week then. Also fun fact: I am trans irl lol)

"Thank you," Ember said gratefully. He leaned against the counter, trying to relax.

Jay shrugged, "A'ight, dude," he said, placing an arm around Aspen's waist and tugging Aspen up next to him, poking his tongue out at Ember. "I couldn't even tell, you're doing great!" He gave the guy a thumbs up.

"Thanks," he said, his ears flattening a bit. He was still embarassed.

Jay punched him in the arm softly. "Stop it, man, you're cool. It's awesome that we get to hang out with a person like you, this doesn't change anything." He sat back at the table and leaned back, looking out the window.
