"I thought we were friends!" Blake pouted, but he couldn't stop relief from seeping into his voice. Maybe it'd be better to stay here for now. Conducting an investigation. This could be a false lead, right? Worse comes to worse he could always go back to his original mission. The thought made Blake feel sick to his stomach.
"I'm fine. "Zander said,slowly pulling himself from the upchuck position" Beshides I shtill have to free Kata."

"That fast? Okay, we're friends. But let me warn you, being my friend means extreme teasing and braiding of your hair." Ace smiled down at Blake.

"Haven't you already done that?" Blake asked, resting his hands on his hips.

"But now it's extreme." Ace pulled on Blake's braid and laughed.
"I regret it already." Blake grumbled, having a hard time holding back a smile. He stood on his toes, determined to be taller than Ace.
"I'm taller than you, man." Ace cracked up.
"It's definitely your shoes." Blake narrowed his eyes, as if trying to will himself to be taller. His wings flapped as he tried to retain his balance.
Ace stared at his black combat boots, "Do you want me to take them off, so we can see who's taller?"
Blake nodded furiously, already prying off his worn out R.A.C. boots. They were old and worn, a hand me hand from an older soldier that didn't fit quite right. It felt good to take them off. He stood up and impatiently waited for Ace.
Ace slid his boots off and stood next to Blake, his arms crossed.
Ace smirked, "Your feet smell really bad, how are you going to woo Dani now?"
"I'm not trying to woo Dani!" Blake's face turned red as he pouted at Ace.
"Riiiiight," Ace said, "Now stand behind me, and we'll see who's really the tallest."
Blake grumbled quietly under his breath, closing his wings so he wouldn't knock over Ace and trotting to his side.
Ace grinned, "Ha! I'm taller." he could feel Blake's hair brushing against his neck.
Blake let out a frustrated groan. "I haven't finished growing yet!" He complained, his wings bristling indignantly.

Iseul shook his head while looking at him. "You should still have some water.", he suggested.
Macha reached out a gentle hand to give Dani a light sqeeze on the shoulder. She remembered what to do. "Deep breaths. In, out, In, out.", she said, voice soft and quiet. "Focus on me." She lay her hands across Dani's shaking ones. "Now vent. Let it all out. I'm listening, and I'm here to stay."

Iseul took a breath then took a quick glimpse at the bar. Without saying anything he walked over and sat on top of a bar stool. The bartender walked over to him, she asked what he wanted. He took a ten dollar bill from his pocket and placed it between them. "Two bottles of water.", he said. The woman nodded taking the money then went to find some water. When she returned, Iseul took them giving the bartender a smile. He walked back to Zander and handed him one. "Here"
"Thanksh man." Zander said, taking th water bottle into his hand, "Your a good pershon!" and the proceeded to give him a hug.

"Anytim-" Iseul dropped the other water bottle and froze once Zander hugged him. He wasn't used to other people hugging him. Before he took a quick glimpse behind him then he hugged him back. "Are you feeling better?"
