Dani nodded. "And they also use people by threatening to kill their loved ones. I can see it in your eyes. Who'd they take from you?"

Dani grabbed Ace's forearm. "Relax dude."

"Good, then tell me, if I an an R.A.C. agent, what. IS. MY. MISSION. HERE!!!"(sorry didn't see you're post @Natasha will post new reply)

"Well, I assuming that it was to bring Blake in and kill Ace. Or to kill them both." Dani retorted.

(Dani is talking to Zander.)

Ace sniffed, "I've lived for 12 years in the dirty world beneath all of the pretty, I can take care of myself."

Dani made a mental note to talk to Ace when they got back to the Citadel.

"W-Wait… They tracked me?! Can the R.A.C. do that?" Blake piped up. He flinched away from Zander, suddenly wary of the boy he'd been wrestling with minutes ago.

"Only because you left the Citadel you dummy. I told you this before." Dani told Blake.

Zander faltered, then took two pictures out of one of his pockets, and handed them to Dani. One showed his entire family, from before the fire. And the other showed Wrembel." Out of everybody in this picture(17), only my baby sister," Zander said pointing to the baby his mother was holding" and I are the only ones left. Then they took me to the R.A.C. and trained me, then… then… they made me kill Wrembel." By the end Zander's voice was seething with anger.

Ace unclenched his jaw. They'd all lost someone…

Then he pulled out the USB." My mission was to kill Blake, and according to this, I already have."

"Commander Ryker sent you after me?" Blake's voice broke, his eyes wide. It was bad enough that he'd been lied to already, but now this? Now his father figure had ordered a hit on him a few days after he'd left for his own mission.

Blake nodded, sinking back quietly. Everything being talked about was the reason he'd gotten himself drunk in the first place. The bar was still only a few floors underneath him right? Maybe he could slip out. Or even just get out of here in general…
