(Oh my goodness. I just saw something about how when you try to write something really beautiful and fancy it ends up like this, and it said, "People die when they killed." And my first thought was, "Not EVERYONE.")

Dani nodded. "Of course." She didn't let Zander go, just hugged him for a little while longer.

Blake's eyes locked on the bloody little girl and turned away, staring out the window and letting his wings drop over his shoulders. He picked up the gun and examined it. I killed people today.

Zander stayed in the hug for another moment, and then got up and walked over to Blake, pulling him into a hug. "Blake, thank you. I wouldn't have have been able to get her back without you."

Dani turned back to Lily, making sure that she was stable. Then she walked over to the boys. "Blake, have you ever killed anyone before today?"

Blake gave Zander a curt nod, staying silent. He tentatively wrapped his arms and wings around him. "I forgot to take this off." Blake muttered gruffly before peaking the mask off his face, leaving his hair standing up in several directions. He looked up at Dani nodding his head. "Y-Yeah… I didn't mean to. It was during a riot."

Zander felt a small smile tug at his lips from seeing Blake's hair. but listened for Blake's response.

Peter finally released her, breathing a little heaviky from excess laughter and exertion. "I can't believe you don't like being tickled," he humored, tilting his head.

Dani put a hand on Blake's shoulder. "I know you didn't mean to or want to. Sometimes we do wrong things for the wright reasons. I've had to kill before too. But let me tell you, the first kill may be the hardest, but it certainly doesn't get any easier." She walked over to look out the window.

"I didn't seem to have much trouble back there." Blake said coldly, turning away from Dani and Zander. He wrapped his wings tightly around himself.

"Does anybody?" Skylar asked, sitting up and catching her breath.

"That's because you were mad." Dani said, not turning away from the window. "I'm not in ANY way saying that killing is okay, but what I am saying is, don't beat yourself up about it. I learned that the hard way. It seems like I learn everything the hard way these days." She said softly.

Zander stepped closer to him." You didn't kill them just to kill them, you are a good person. You helped me to get my sister back."

"I'm sorry Dani…" Blake sighed, feeling defeated. "Let's just get home. Zander promised me beer." Blake nudged him playfully.

Dani did a comical little spin on her heels. She raised her eyebrows. "Good luck with that." She stated.

Zander paled at a glare from Dani. " Yeah, I'll get you it when we get there if Dani doesn't kill me first."

"They've gotta have something at that ball tonight. There's no way they'll deprive the older TGR members. Besides I can be very persuasive." Blake winked, pleased with himself.

Macha’s hands began to tremble at the sight of Ace’s bare chest. “They went on a rescue mission, Zander’s sister.”, she replied, breaths short and her heart hammering in her chest. “I wish I could’ve gone, but I’m so incredibly tired.”, she yawned, face hot as she averted her eyes, the image of his countless tattoos branded into her mind as her eyelids grew heavier and heavier.

Dani rolled her eyes. "You know that every member of the TGR has to be ready to fight on a moment's notice, right? Any and all alcoholic drinks have been banned."

Blake let out a horrified gasp. "I'm not going." He insisted adamantly. "I can't handle such a snooze-fest. Not while I'm sober!"

Zander discreetly pulled out a bottle of Rozer-Rum,( he had his own supply for getting targets drunk) and showed it Blake.

Blake grinned wickedly at Zander. "On second thought maybe it won't be that bad." He pretended to grumble.

Dani gave a playful hurt gasp and put her hand over her heart. "Zander how could you!" She exclaimed jokingly. Then she smiled. It was fun to joke around with the two of them like this.

"I knew you'd come around!" Blake smiled widely at Dani.

" I don't know what you're talking about ?" Zander laughed innocently.

Peter responded curiously, "My brothers love being tickled," he humored, flashing his teeth to her.
