"Klance?" Blake's wing lifted of its own accord as Ace tugged close to one of his nerves. He relaxed, his wings then drooping.

"Whovian see the Klance potato, make it canon." Ace patted Blake's wings and started preening.

I literally am crying from laughing so hard like what the actually heck.))

"Make Klance canon," Ace murmured as his fingers went through Blake's wings, looking for flattened feathers.

"Whatever you want, buddy." Blake shut his eyes, starting to drift off.

A nurse came in, "Ace's surgery is due in five minutes, thank you." she left.

Blake gripped tightly onto Ace's forearm, making eye contact. "Listen, Ace. I know everything's hazy, but I need you to listen just for a minute."

(Hi sorry the wifi went out at my house and I spent the last two hours finicking with it trying to see what was wrong)

Ace smiled, "Listen? Kk."

"I need you to hang in there no matter what, man. For Macha, me, and everyone else. You have to promise me." Blake was struggling to keep it together. He was terrified.

"Promise." Ace's eyes cleared for a minute before he was back to his drug-induced haze.

Blake wasn't sure if he was just overtired or Ace had been truly alert for a moment. He chose to believe Ace was with him. God, he could die. This is all my fault if he does. Blake's breathing grew shallow and fast as the seconds ticked onwards.

Then the surgeons came in. "I'm sorry sir, but could you take a step back?" they wheeled in a cart filled with sharp, pointy things and thread and other stuff.

Dani pinched the bridge of her nose. Why did I run.

Blake nodded, tears freely streaming down his face. He wiped them away quickly and put on a stoic expression. "Don't break your promise Ace." He whispered so only his friend could hear, before letting Ace go and stepping away. Blake had never been a religious man, but now, standing on the sidelines, he began to pray to any god that would listen.

"Hey Zander, can you watch the kids foe a bit? I gotta go shopping for something. "

"Sure," Zander said, mentally noting that Dani was pinching her nose for some reason."I can watch them, while you go out."

The surgeons pumped a drug into Ace's system and he faded from consciousness. The doctors waited a few minutes and began cutting into his stomach, occasionally whispering orders and stopping to wipe their tools.

"Thanks " sky said gratefully, stepping closer to Zander and gently handing Mackenzie to him. "Ellis stay with Zander, I will be right back." She said. She turned toward Dani and Macha. " Do you guys wanna come with me?" She asked

Dani nodded eagerly. "And Macha wants to come too." She said for Macha, grabbing her by the wrist and following Sky out of the room.
