Blake raised an eyebrow and looked and Frankie, mocking Ace playfully. "Are teddy bears supposed to be handsome?" He whispered, putting his hands on his hips and puffing out his chest.

"I've only been with Frankie for a few days! And in that time I've had my drink spiked, gotten blackout drunk, raided an R.A.C. Base and underwent surgery." Blake listed proudly, his feathers fluffing up.

"Are you proud of that?" Ace asked, "I've gotten tortured by the R.A.C. Not much of a fun thing." he looked down at his bleeding stomach, staining the covers.

"Feels nice to get vengeance. I won't be happy till I get my hands on Ryker." The name felt like blood in his mouth. Did he really want revenge? No. But did want to ask why. Why did you make me suffer? Why did you hate me so much? Why did you occasionally show affection? Did you ever care? Were you under orders? Why? Why? Why? Blake shook his head and stared at the floor for a moment to recompose himself. "I know you did, man. They're gonna pay for that." He inhaled deeply. "They're all gonna pay for that." He whispered.

(Guys I just started drawing. I have no idea why, but now I have a face that actually looks good! I mean I have like, very poor drawing skills. But I just drew a really good picture of an elven face and my dad(who is an artist) just stared at in in shock for a few seconds. and then he just said, "This is REALLY good!" It was hilarious.)

"Wow, calm down, avenger." Ace smiled at Blake, concerned, "How much are they paying?"

"Woah, are you okay Sky?" Peter commented with a small laugh.

Macha’s eyes fluttered shut, and her exhaustion catching up with her, she fell asleep.

Cruz had fallen asleep on the couch. August had found his friend a blanket, but he himself was void of sleepiness. It frustrated him. But hopefully that'd be fixed soon enough.

August sat a quiet vigil on the floor by the couch, staring at the wall and wishing he had a book to read. 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, preferrably.

Skylar coughed one last time and laughed. "Yeah, yep, I'm good!"

"Okay, okay.." he humored softly.

"yep.." She smiled.

He leaned back against his pillows, pulling Ellis closer to his heart.

Ace smiled at Macha's sleeping figure and pressed a kiss to her hair before stroking her shoulder.

Macha’s eyes fluttered briefly open.

Skylar yawned, covering her mouth to conceal it.

"I might go to sleep too," Peter chuckled.

"Get some rest, darling." Ace whispered into Macha's ear. "I'll be with you when you wake up."

“I love you.”, she murmured, and then she was asleep.

Skylar nodded. "Ok." She curled up and closed her eyes.

"I love you too." Ace smiled and closed his eyes, not sleeping though, because he can never sleep.
