(The two main characters are two sisters, Brianna who is fifteen and Avery who is twelve. Also I changed the first lines a little to, "Sometimes an adventure comes in the spur of the moment. Other times you have to create an adventure yourself. Or, y'know…your dad could always just shove you into an enchanted forest, which is pretty much the same thing.")

Macha shrugged. “The flat I guess. I need to check in Cruz.”
Sabine nodded, the fell silent again. Dani hugged herself, trying not to think about how Zander's face had settled into a frown.

Ellis held very still to listen, wings outstretched for balance.
Skylar sensed him listening, so she froze, breathing heavily and quietly.
