"Awww!!" Kanoa almost died of cuteness. "The cute is overpowering me." she reached out and ran her fingers through Kata's fur, eyes wide and smile getting bigger.

"Yeah." Kanoa laughed as Pauka came over, angry. She let the tamarin slide into her lap. "All of you just want some love, don't you?"
Dani finally gave up trying to sleep and walked out into the living room again and opened a closet door. "Zander, did you happen to see anything strange when we were in the city?"
"Nothing except that book, why?" Zander asked turning to face her.
Kanoa backed away and headed into the kitchen, Pauka on top of her head.
"E nada. Okay…..that's a lie." She corrected herself. " I don't know. I'm just a little jumpy. " She said, sitting down beside Zander.
"If you feel like something's off, then most likely something is off." Zander said."We just have to think over today, from when we left."
"I've only known you for a little while, and I already know to trust your instincts." He added.
"Like to what? I mean the book…..well the book was creepy." She shuddered. "But other than that there wasn't anything. At least I don't think so. Well…..other than jerkface #1and #2."
"Yeah, I guess… well and you made puns…" Zander said.
Dani gasped and pretended to be offended. "I can pun just as well as anybody else can, I'll have you know."
The boy Josh was in there and Kanoa propped open her spellbook, scribbling furiously to document her latest potion.
Zander smiled." Well…Uhh, nope I don't have an answer for that one. Except, that… nope I'm actually at a loss for words."
Dani laughed and stick out her tongue. "For once I'm not the speechless one." She teased.
"For the first time in forever…" Zander started, laughing.
Dani facepalmed. "Wwwhhhyyyyyyyyyy"
She asked, though she was laughing too.

Sky smiled and took one last glance at the people in the room. she tiptoed out of the door and walked down to the apartment where she plopped onto the couch and closed her eyes, trying to fall asleep, though she knew she probably wouldn't be for long.

Dani grabbed a pillow and his her face in it. "Sstttaaaahhhppppp……."
