What’s that?” She asked before responding to her remark. “Than before? Don’t be silly, I’ve always been like this.” Spinel said with a smile, chuckling innocently.

Poppy’s face went from depressed and disappointed to completely happy with a flick of a switch, it seemed like magic, she wasn’t even faking her happiness.

Steven nodded, shifting his hands anxiously. “All of this feels…wrong. If she ever found out we were keeping her own secrets from her, she’d probably react poorly. But…you’re right, she’s unpredictable, and it might be for the best if we just keep her this way…that way she can’t hurt anybody.” He suggested, “Maybe I could find a loophole if you tell me more about Spinel…What about her is the most unstable?”

He sighed. “I mean, what would she do if she got in a really bad mood, angry or sad?”

“I see. That is bad… She must have a lot of bottled up emotions. If we find a way to get her memories back, we should help her.”

“I’m not sure. Maybe we try to rebuild her life? Like, stack similar memories on top of each other and hope it becomes the real thing?” Steven offered.

“But how do we do that without mentioning mom?” He asked himself, looking deep in thought.

“I have water magic! Wanna see?” Poppy holds out her hands, a small ball of water forms, floating above her hand. “You can touch it if you like, it won’t hurt you. My magic isn’t lethal, it’s mostly healing magic!”
Poppy’s smile grew bigger, a little bit of blush on her face from her over whelming happy attitude. The water was soft and gentle like a lake, perfectly round like a sphere, it flowed a bit, some blue particles were around her hands.

“Yes!!” She grinned, practically bouncing in place as she watched Poppy gleefully. Spinel seemed instantly compelled to reach out and grab it, like a small child. “What’s ‘lethal’ mean?” She asked, tilting her head.

Then, amethyst got an idea. "You. You are just like rose, it'll be just like her times she had with her!"

“I’m not sure… But I’ll try. I don’t wanna’ have to betray her, though. But I’m not like Pink…”
