“Huh…well that’s a surprise.” They said to themselves, getting out of an attack stance, to a more casual position. As Nightfall hadn’t really said any full sentences, it seemed that they didn’t realize that they could understand each other.

It seemed somewhat curious about the dragon that loomed in front of them. The stone gave a soft ‘tink’ upon contact of her talon. They looked a little uncomfortable by this sudden intrusion of space, and tried to keep a frown from her face. Though they seemed taken aback by the beast’s ability to speak. “Um..That’s my gem….?” She chuckled with a slight nervousness to it.

(Onomatopoeia is fun)

“…I was made with it. I’ve had it all my life…?” She answered, calming down almost instantly as Nightfall took her claw off.

She shook her head, “No, I said what I said. I was made with it. It’s mine, and me.” She replied simply.

(Wait, what other voice?)

“Yep, we all have one!” They said proudly, holding their hands behind their back while rocking on their feet.

(Because Spinel hasn’t introduced herself yet, and I want to change the pronoun words so it’s not just she/her. And Amethyst hasn’t said anything in a while)

“I guess so.” She shrugged, not seeming at all phased. “Your wings are pretty glitzy.” She pointed out, looking as fascinated by Nightfall as she was of her, though, with less communication of such.

“So….What’s your name?” The odd looking scavenger asked, “I’m Spinel.”

“Huh, Nightfall. That’s a weird name, I like it.” Spinel chuckled, looking pretty happy. “It’s swell to meet you too.”
