Altra watched his friends from far off, wondering what they were doing but scared to find out. They did all sorts of messed up stuff. They needed to grow up sometimes.
Roleplay?
"It would be great if you could help," Jordan said.
Dom took the phone, flipped over to settings, and enabled developer mode. He made some minor adjustments to the range and channel of the search, then went back to the app and ran it. The device pinged, and Dom held it to the girl.
"Does this seem about right?"
Altra couldn't resist. He walked over apprehensively and took a moment to blow his hair out of his freckled face. "Did you try resetting the dev number?"
"I… don't know what the means or how to do that," he said sheepishly.
"Hand it here…" Altra sighed, flicking out his wrist with a feminine twist. "I'll teach you."
Jordan plucked his phone from Amelia's hands, giving it to Altra. "Thanks," he said.
Dom laughed, "Nice to see I'm not the only one here with a head for electronics."
"Whatever…" Altra muttered with a faint smile. "You see here?" The source coding was opened, and highlighted was a 3-line combination of numbers in parentheses. "It says '51-9-22.5'? It should be '51-9-23.5.' " He typed in the new number and refreshed the app. "See? All new. That's just a glitch in your phone's software."
(I just realized that Jordan's phone is supposed to be lost and I said plucked his phone from Amelia's hands, it was supposed to be her phone)
"Oh, thanks," he said with a smile. "Now what do I do?"
"Nothing." Altra smirked and stood there awkwardly for a few seconds before turning and walking away.
Jordan turned and followed him desperately, a worried expression on his face. "Wait, what do you mean nothing? Where's my phone?"
"Check your pocket, dumbarse!" Altra laughed and turned to face her with a fake smile spread across his face. "Your phone is fine."
"I-what?" He said, confused. His hands searched his pockets, but still didn't find it. Then, he realized that he had a pocket on the inside of his jacket. He reached inside, and there was his phone, safe and sound.
Well shit I missed a lot
(lol it's all good. Basically this girl found a locket, this guy is flirting with her, and this other guy is yelling at people asking if they've seen his phone. His crazy cat lady sister tried to help him find it, but these other two guys used crazy tech and pointed out that his phone was in his pocket)
Well fuck.
(lol)
(me tooo @KaraWilson448 :P)
"See? Now can I leave?" Altra began feeling a little anxious and scanned the horizon.
"Yeah, I don't mean to keep you here, sorry," Jordan said, laughing nervously.
Jude Miller, falls from the sky, and jolts up, taking her glaive into a protective stance in front of her.
"Where. The. ACtual. Fuck. Am I?)
(welcome to hell Jude lol idk)
"It's fine, I've just got… Things." Altra waved at her awkwardly and sprinted away.
Confused, Jordan sat down in the sand and ran his hands through his hair.
(you're welcome
my characters are extremely confusing :P)
(it's all good lol)
Dom found himself staring at the girl with the cat in a box again. He shook his head, attempting to clear it, and turned back to fetch the screwdriver. He fixed up his laptop and powered it on. No problems.
His thoughts mostly centered around the girl. He wanted to talk, but didn't quite know how.
Maybe I don't need to….
He started typing furiously, hard at work, when the locket caught his eye. He filed the project away in his memory and went to check on the two.
"That's a pretty nice trinket. Where'd you find it?"
(Crazy Cat Lady Sister? I thought we agreed on 'Cat Lady in Training' LOL)
Amelia started laughing "It was in your pocket the whole time?"
Altra continued watching the group with wary suspicion. I need that locket back. I can't let them find out.
Suddenly Mr. Snuffles (Cat) started meowing towards a pale, red-haired boy standing not too far away "What is it, boy?" Amelia asked the cat.
(anyone still here?)
