He headed to the green and sat at one of the benches, looking at his schedule dnd sighing

Pulling out his sketchbook, Chace started drawing the first thing that came to mind, the look Harley had given him when he kissed her
Harley saw a dead dog and screamed.
Chance stood and headed to the sound, "Harley? What's wrong?"
¨There is a dead dog¨ she said not taking her eyes off it.
He glanced down then quickly away "damn it," he stood between Harley and the dog, sheikding her brow of it "is there somewhere we can report this?"
Harley lightly touched the dog and it opend its eyes.
Chance crouched down near the dog and gently picked it up "nearest doctor?"
¨Down the block¨ she said.
"will they be open at this time?" He hoped he wasn't hurting the pup by picking up, so far it didn't seemed fazed
¨Yeah my ex is the vet¨ she said.
"fantastic," he groaned and adjusted his hold on the dog "it's all right girly," he muttered softly to the dog in his arms
Harley lead him to the vet building.
"so how long did this relationship last?" He asked
