Genevieve noticed Arietta's confused glances at Luke, and that's when she realized that he was still in his maid disguise. He was supposed to be out of the castle already, but he couldn't now that Arietta believed that he actually worked here.

Luke watched as the Princesses took their places next to the king, and waited in the back of the hall next to Ellis. HE tried his best to keep his gaze away from Arietta's because she knew him by Luke, but he was dressed as a maid who worked in the castle. (Ellis it's up to you whether we're good friends or not, if we are you know my disguise if we're not, then you dont… :)
Gene fiddled with the golden locket around her neck while waiting for someone to explain what they were all called to the throne room for. She looked for her father, who wasn't even in the throne room yet. It was only her, Princess Arietta, Luke, and another maid, whose name Gene believed was Ellis or Ellen, one of those. Gene was terrible with names, and she always felt awful that she had to ask people multiple times. Gene thought back to the time where she had to ask Luke is name around ten times when they were younger before she finally got it right. She giggled at the thought, then abruptly silenced herself when her father walked in.
