Ash let slip a snort. "Impressive," he nods slowly. Lydia was concentrating hard.

"I swear I can do it. Just wait. I know I can!" Nothing still happens. "Oh well. I guess that I'll have to keep trying," she says with her excitement sucked out of her.

"Anyways, what's up with you guys. I know I'm not the only one with news. There has to be someone else."

Ash laughed. "Well, actually, a girl fainted the other day when she saw me playing ball with Dahlia. The ball was made of water."
(Dahlia is his twin sister, but I'll only ever mention her in passing)

Lillian giggled. "Well, I mean, there are people without powers like us. Don't blame her. I would faint if I saw that as a person without magic. Did she ask you questions after ward? Because you have to be careful with people like that. You could get in real trouble."

Ash rolled his eyes because he knew she was right.
"No, we left before she woke up. Dahlia propped her up against a tree. Maybe she woke up and though it was a dream. Anyway, nothing happened. And you, Reese? Any mind-blowing stories to share?" he asked, looking over to his other friend.

"PB? You okay?" Lillian asked with concern in her eyes.

Ash looked at Reese, frowning. "Reese? What's up?"

Reese twisted around and stalked away. Ash stared after her, confused.
"Do you know what that was about?" Ash asked quietly.

"No idea. Maybe she's just having an off day." Lillian was worried about their friend. She also hope that she didn't say anything to offend her. She tends to brutally honest sometimes, not thinking about how that would affect people.

(Do you know if Reese has magic or any sort of powers?)

"So, I need to go to college soon, my mum keeps pressuring me to, but I don't know what I'd do without you guys. Plus, what if someone finds out about my telekinesis. Are you in college Ash?"

Ash nodded. "Yeah, I'm studying English Literature." he told Lillian. "It's quite fun, really, once you get used to the public showers and caning."

Lillian just rolled her eyes. "Sooooooooooooooo, where do you suggest I go? I really have no idea. I want to go to Cambridge, but I doubt they will accept me."
