Marietta stayed silent. She knew she was intelligent, more so than those two combined. She knew she had to accept second place in command, otherwise her search for power would be worthless. Nobody looks at the person who comes second, only the person who comes out on top. She could carefully control this entire operation with some magic and well planned out con work. However, she wasn't aiming to double cross them, more to keep herself and those two idiots from failing. Marietta hated failure.

"I do not intend to give you my personal opinion, unfortunately. There are things that could be more well thought out, yes, but I shall say no more." Marietta whispered stiffly.

"Yes, but serious and stiff are the emotions, or to put it more accurately lack of emotions I wish to use."

Marco spun his blade in his hand. They needed a better cover. Somewhere they wouldn’t be caught again. And he needed to get Ryver ready. If he was soft, or is Marietta was soft, though he didn’t expect her to be, then Marco doubt any of them would be able to take control and split the territory. Marco thought about that angel boy. He really should have killed him… But then the male’s friends wouldn’t have had a reason to hold back and regroup, so in the long term Marco thought he made the better decision. Now the thing that was left to do was find a new hide out. “Where do you want to start?” Marco turned to look at his colleagues, stopping in the middle of the servant’s hall.

"I believe that we should make a plan that isn't guaranteed to fail." Marietta said.

“I agree with that too, darling. Any suggestions then?” Marco drawled, leaning on the wall.

"Possibly a slow takeover. Genocide, while good if I need a bigger army, is far too messy. Besides, it's boring."

"Aw, how cute. Ordinary people are so adorable and silly, I almost feel bad for them. No, we can do better."

“I wasn’t thinking of complete genocide. Too much to clean up and we need someone to take over,” Marco replied, “I was thinking we kill the governors and duchesses and whoever else runs the government. What do you say about that? Or is it still too boring, sweet?” Marco deadpanned at the last question.

"Still too boring." Marietta said.

“Then do you care to explain because I asked for your alliance for a reason,” Marco said with a smirk. Why could she just be simple and say her plan?

"Alas, if only I could explain it to your simple minds."

“I am not a simpleton,” Marco replied coolly, “And if we want to all get a third of the world each, you might want to try and explain.”

"All will be revealed." she said simply.

Marco frowned, “Not very descriptive, hon, and if you remember me correctly, which I’m sure you do,” Marco smirked, “then you know I might become a bit of a loose cannon when I want to,” Marco held up his dagger, but it wasn’t much of a threat. Marco wouldn’t dare kill her, necromancy was too valuable to him. Besides, he liked her company.
