It took about 20 minutes later they finally reached Maria's (bungalow???) She shimmied off of the bike before pulling her helmet off and shaking her damp hair out, "oh shoot I didn't realize how wet my hair, I'm sorry-"
Marc smiled at her as he parked and took off his helmet. “It's ok. We were just in the ocean.” he chuckled, shaking out his damp helmet hair. “It's not going to ruin anything.” he assured.

She smiled a little and nodded while extending her arm towards Marcus so he'd take her hand. " I still feel bad though, so we can bring the helmets inside so they can dry. "
Marc smiled warmly at her offer as he accepted her hand. “Alright. But I'm sure they'll be fine.” he chuckled, walking with her to the door.

She gently tugged him to the door and unlocked before leading him inside. " Wellcome to my humble temporary bungalow! Make yourself at home, I've got a lounge and a kitchen, the bedroom is just down the hallway the bathroom is the only door on the right and there's a broom closet on the left there's only three doors so it's not really that confusing." She said with a giggle before setting her keys down along with her helmet, "you can take a shower first if you want, while your washing up I can make a pot of tea. " she said beaming up at him.
“Well… I was going to let you go first but I won’t argue if you insist.” Marc nodded, feeling a little better that she would have something to do while he cleaned up. “I’ll be fast either way so…” he shrugged since he didn’t want Maria to be uncomfortable for too long.

She walked over to the sink to wash her hands "well I was planning on conditioning my hair, so it's totally fine." She said walked back over to him and grabbed his helmet and set it down on the counter. "I can put our clothes in the wash if you'd like, just so they don't have sand on them and so they can get dried. Also there's a closet in the bathroom full of towels so help yourself."
“Alright.” Marc nodded, letting her take the helmet. “Thanks. I’ll be fast.” he assured before heading down the hall to the bathroom.

She nodded and gave him a warm smile before turning away and starting on the pot of tea, she grabbed two mugs and set them on the counter before tidying up the living area and starting the dish washer. Once she heard water running she sped off to her room to make her bead and clean up clothes and everything else that had been thrown about that morning when she was getting ready.
Marc had made sure to take his shoes off at the door, having a lot of experience with cleaning up sand, and not wanting Maria to deal with it more than necessary. Once he was in the bathroom, he even waited to take off his clothes until he was standing in the shower and shook off each piece before setting them aside and starting the cool water to help him calm down from earlier before turning up to actually clean off. And true to his word, he didn't take long to rinse off and grab a towel.

She smiled to herself when she noticed he had taken off his shoes, once the tea was done she went into the kitchen to pour it into the cups she grabbed the jug of milk from the fridge and poured about a table spoon in her cup along with som honey. She took a few sips of it while she waited for Marcus to come out.
Marc wrapped the towel around his waist and gathered up his clothes before he walked out of the bathroom. “That feels a lot better.” he chuckled as he rejoined Maria in the kitchen. “Thanks again for letting me go first.”

Maria turned around as she was taking a sip of tea when she heard his voice, and nearly chocked, she coughed and turned around facing the sink her face bring red "YeAh- no problem at all!" She said turning around again, attempting to cover her red face.
Marc smiled awkwardly, blushing as well when he realized the situation, and chuckled lightly. “Ah, sorry.” he apologized as he adjusted his grip on the towel.

Maria nodded avoiding eye contact, her hand still trying to cover her mouth. "Um- here let me take your clothes so I can pop them in the washing machine down stairs. " she said finally looking Marcus in the eyes as she held out her hands for the clothes.
“Sure. Thanks.” Marc nodded, still blushing as he handed her his clothes. Though he was really only blushing because she was. He wasn't embarrassed by his body, in fact he thought he had a nice build, but being in only a towel…

She took his clothes rather quickly and ran down to pop them in the washing machine. Once she was done she walked upstairs, and flashed him a quick shower before heading into the bathroom to take a shower.
Marc shook his head, trying to get his blush to cool off again. He didn't mean to have made things awkward… He just didn't have anything else to change into. And he didn't want to walk out without the towel. But he smiled back briefly when Maria walked passed before taking a seat and waiting patiently.
