River nodded. Personal futures? As in he could steal that and see his future? He could protect the others with that.

Ellen ran a hand through her hair. "Hmm. What do you guys think?"

"S-sorry, I…I'm not supposed to," he said with a bow of his head.

Isadora raised her eyebrow. "So, you want us to help you, but you won't show us one lousy piece of paper?"

Ellen glanced over at Isadora. "Just chill Dora. He'll show when he's ready."

"But who knows when that will be?" Dexter commented.

"Fine."

"I…I hope one d-day the s-stuff on the paper will be irrelevant." Mitsig crumpled the paper back up and stuffed it into his pocket. "Until then, m-my eyes only."

Isadora had moved on already. "So Mystic, you got any info on how exactly we should go about making a time machine, or have we just gotta figure it out ourselves."

"L-like I said," he whispered with a smile, "you're the geniuses."

"I think we should just yeet ourselves forward into time." Dexter joked.

"I do have a w-word of warning, though," he said, frowning. "I-If you travel forward in time, there's n-no way to go back. If y-you physically go back, it'll m-make a paradox for sure."

Yuki was so late. I can't believe I slept in, she thought with a huff. Flinging the lab door open, she called out a "Hey!" before looking around. What was a kid doing here?
"Can anyone tell me what's going on?" She asked.

((I was out all day yesterday sorry what did I miss?))

(basically everyone's in the lab. a kid from the future appeared randomly and told them they had to save the world and stop a time machine from being built.)

"Hey Yuki. This kid popped up out of nowhere, claims he's from the future, and says that we need to save the future." Ellen said.

Carmen burst through panting. "Lo siento! I had to talk with my professor but so did five other people and- what the Mierda happened?"

"Hablas español?" Mitsig asked excitedly. He was much better at not stuttering if he spoke in Spanish instead of English.

She nodded. "¿Y usted es?" She asked, still horribly confused.

"Lo siento. Me llamo Mitsig. Soy del futuro." He realized that was a trash explanation. "Es dificil de explicar."

Yuki blinked. After a few seconds of processing the information, she shrugged. "So when do we start?"

Ellen threw her hands up in the air. "I dunno. We haven't even decided on a plan of attack yet!"

She blinked. "Está bien, entonces … está bien …" She mumbled numbly. "¿Cómo diablos?"
