"Can I ask what?" Lillian said cautiously. Now fully aware that the fucking voice was back.

"Whatever you say baby." She let herself get lost in his eyes like she so often did.

“I wonder if Darren’s dad will make himself known the way he is so fond of doing,”

"Probably will. Because people here are fond of tradition, or so I've found out."

Ryan sighed. “Why do all the characters in this story have father issues?”

“Oh, well I’ll stick by you okay?”

Darren nodded. “We should probably gather people for food and stuff,”

Lillian nodded and glanced around the house, “I guess we should.”

"Shhhh, the fourth wall is fragile sugar."

“Oh shit. Sorry,” he smiled.

She chuckled lightly. "You're ridiculous."

“Yeah but you love me,” he shrugged.

Lillian nodded and glanced around the house, “I guess we should.”

Darren sighed. “I don’t feel like yelling,”

Lillian grinned, “I got it cover your ears or something.” She took a deep breath before shouting, “EVERYONE GATHER ROUND!”

"Guess that's our cue. Come on, let's go."

Darren chuckled. “Thanks,”
Ryan nodded and offered her a hand to help get down from the counter.

She took it gratefully, hopping down carefully as to not hurt her ankles in these heels.

Ryanwalked into the living room humming American Beauty/American Psyco. He sat on the floor in front of the couch.

Lillian grinned, "You're welcome."

Darren sighed. “Is it bad that I don’t have the energy for Christmas right now?”

"Neither do I Darren but here we are!" She chuckled, sitting on the floor carefully.

Lillian gave him a hug, "No it's not."

(I have to take a test and according to the other classes it’s nothing like the review and it is VERY HARD.)

Darren sighed. “I’m definitely taking a nap later,”
Darren’s father sat next to Neal and eyed the company.

"Alright, are we starting this or what?"

(Oh shit.)

Lillian smiled and looked up at him, "Mind if I join you?"

Darren handed Cooper a mug, he pulled a flask from his pocket and poured some into the hot chocolate, he didn't drink but it was what was going to get him through this party.

Fleur saw him do this and her eyes widened slightly. She sipped from her hot chocolate tentatively.

WEOW I LIVE.

(Oh shit.)

Lillian smiled and looked up at him, "Mind if I join you?"

“Not at all. But yes we should start. Are we doing gifts or no?”

Darren handed Cooper a mug, he pulled a flask from his pocket and poured some into the hot chocolate, he didn't drink but it was what was going to get him through this party.

Cooper sighed unhappily as he drank his hot chocolate.

Lillian looked at the group then to Darren's feet as she muttered softly, "I would say yes."
