“Chinese?! Yay!”

Lillian laughed with a beam, "Okay, I'll go order some then."

“Oh yum,” Darren buried his face in a pillow.

She wondered about her boyfriend sometimes, but she went and ordered Chinese.

He was an irrational child. shrug.

He visually melted at the name alone. “You can possibly be mad at me about that. You know I don’t have control over that and I never asked for your love, you gave it, you didn’t have to so you can’t be mad about it,”

"I'm not mad. Did I ever say that I was mad?" she asked softly.

“You can’t be—,” Cooper stopped. No no, she wasn’t mad as he thought she was, but he was the one that was mad. He hadn’t even realized it until she said that but his fists were heavy and his words were harsh so he took a breath to clear his head and tried a calmer approach, “You can’t worry about my feelings for Belle,”

"I'm sorry," she replied quietly.

“No I’m sorry. You weren’t mad,” he shook his head. He knew rage was one of the symptoms but he hadn’t expected it this way. “I love belle and it’s not my fault. I can’t change that she’s all I think of, that’s just how these things work,”

Lol. Darren groaned a little, the thought of food made his stomach growl.

Lillian walked back over to Darren and ruffled his head, "Food will be here soon."

He picked his head up and smiled, the whole hair touching thing always made him smile. “Thanks babe,”

Lillian smiled back as she kissed his forehead, cause why the hell not, "You're welcome."

He sat up and set his head on her shoulder, nonchalantly pushing his shaking hand under his leg.

Lillian leaned her head against his. She let out a deep breath and just relaxed in the moment.

He couldn’t help but smile as he laced their fingers together.

Lillian was beaming and she wasn't going to stop anytime soon.

"Today was a good day," he mumbled.

"Even better than our first date?"

"No, I love that day," he paused, "When was that?" His eyes got a little wide, was he blanking or was his brain foggy?

"Ummm, I don't remember," Lillian didn't know either. So it was probably nothing.
