Ryan stared in disbelief at the screen. Completely speechless.

Lillian frowned heavily, her mind was racing, "Darren you just stood there. I'm really worried, maybe we should go back to the doctors."

“Hey. It’s fine, if something bad happens we’ll go but I feel fine,”

"Oh my god this doesn't feel real." She chuckled.

Lillian paused, but she nodded, "Okay, but you need to tell me if you feel light headed again okay?"

“Looks to me like it’s a boy and…” he moved the monitor, “A girl! One of each and they’re in the same placental sack so they’re identical,”

“I’ll try,” he agreed.

Lillian smiled, "Good… I love you Darren."

(That’s how things work. If they’re in the same placental sack they’re identical regardless of gender. Identical twins means a lot more than just appearance you dip willy )

Lillian smiled, "Good… I love you Darren."

He raised an eyebrow, “…Love you too…”

"Really?? Yay! Oh that makes me so happy to hear." She smiled brightly.

Ryan was still staring at the screen, he hadn’t said anything.

"I think you killed him. Great." She chuckled, squeezing Ryan's hand. "Babe, come back, Earth is requesting your presence."

“No, I just. Nothing. It’s fine,”

He turned around with a tear in his eye that hadn’t yet fallen but just stayed making his eyes look watery.

Lillian nodded slowly slightly confused, "Okay."

Her smile softened into an almost nervous one. How would he react?

He was just happy. She had said something about him having an obsession with her belly and he went with it but that's not where the 'obsession' laid. It was with his kids, he didn't even know them and he had such love for them. Now he was seeing them for the first time.

Lillian nodded slowly slightly confused, "Okay."

"I'm gonna go fix my car that someone crashed and I got all the parts for but never had time to do it,"

"Right, Doc, you got anything new to lecture me on?" She chuckled softly.

Lillian looked away guiltily. She looked back up, "I could come and help."

"Always! Remember no alcohol, smoking, drugs, all that jazz. Don't overdo it with things and you don't lift heavy things, it strains the babies. But, don't become a couch potato, that's not good for them either."

"I'm not mad at you, it wasn't your fault. If you want you can help but you don't have to,"

"Yeah yeah, I know. No promises me and my couch won't become one though."

"I do want to," Lillian said standing up.
