Lillian stepped out shivering in the frigid December air. She wrapped her old jacket tighter around herself.

He responded with no words but rather just decided to kiss her.

This was how she had always wished to spend her Christmas. With someone she loved and who would treat her like a person unlike how her own family had after her sister died.

He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her in, he just wanted someone to spend the holidays with and it occurred to him that he'd never be alone again.

It seemed like the rest of the world could never hurt them when they were together. Like there was an invisible bubble of protection that surrounded them. And she cherished that.

"Neal's picking first," Darren announced but soon regretted it just by the look that Neal had on his face. "I choose Lillian," he said without hesitation…
"Fine," Darren sighed, "I choose Diana (neal's wife)"

"Yeah, neither does my wife," He smiled, "I just wanted to steal you from Darren, it makes him mad," Neal giggled as he looked around, "I choose… Dominic, which means you're stuck with Cooper,"
Cooper frowned that someone had to be 'stuck' with him. "Where did Fleur go?"

Lillian grinned a little, okay that was a good reason. She looked around and shrugged, "I don't know. Also no one is 'stuck' with Cooper. He actually would be more useful than anyone else here."

Cooper shot her a small, grateful smile. "Thanks Lillian, glad someone thinks so," he slumped over to Darren's side.

She only had one request for her future child. For them to save the same time stopping blue eyes as Ryan did. It would kill her slowly but at least she'd know they would live on.

He wanted to see Belle in their child, she was his everything and that child should be his everything too. The thought of being a real family made him smile against her lips. Maybe they'd get her will, her unwavering stubbornness.

He laughed with her, "I have a feeling the next few months will fly right by,"

"Catching?" Lillian said questioningly.

"I really hope they do, I know most people don't want to get settled down so soon but I do!"

"Catching?" Lillian said questioningly.

"Okay, so, when you catch the ball, I want you to put the corner of it into your armpit and basically hug it and just, run for the endzone as fast as you can. Okay?"
