Lillian didn't push away, but hugged Darren tighter. Oh God let Cooper be okay.

Darren lifted his head up at the sounds of the 9-1-1 call. "Cooper?! What's going on?"
That's why Coop didn't want her to be concerned, then everyone would be concerned and he could do this. It wasn't even that bad yet. Cooper let his eyes close and tried to focus on his breathing.

Fleur gave the address and again told them to hurry.
“They’re on their way, okay? Okay?” Her voice wobbled nervously. She looked at Darren. “Is he going to be okay?” she whispered, already knowing the answer.

"I'm fine," Cooper said quietly, his eyes still closed. "I don't need an ambulance."

"I was sleeping!" he defended.

Fleur flinched at Lillian’s words.

Was it really going to be this soon? She grabbed his hand and held it tight. “Don’t leave me,” she whispered. “You promised me you wouldn’t go.”

"Chill," he rolled until he was under the bed with his face in the carpet.

Fleur flinched at Lillian’s words.

“You sound like death.”

He was done with talking, it was so much effort. Instead he just kissed her quickly and looked at her. He wasn't going anywhere, not yet.

She sat up and stretched. "Welp, I've got some bridesmaids to chew out for interrupting my wedding, I'll be back."

Lillian rubbed Darren's arm, "He'll be fine babe."

She sat up and stretched. "Welp, I've got some bridesmaids to chew out for interrupting my wedding, I'll be back."

"I'll be back love." She chuckled, standing and grabbing her phone, walking out and texting her friends that they needed to talk about their little event.

"It is. He'll end up looking scary before he dies."

She sat up and stretched. "Welp, I've got some bridesmaids to chew out for interrupting my wedding, I'll be back."

"I'll be back love." She chuckled, standing and grabbing her phone, walking out and texting her friends that they needed to talk about their little event.

Ryan laid under the bed, I mean, what was he supposed to do? If only he had some paper to eat. His favorite, 'I feel useless' activity.

"I don't want him to get scary looking, so let's stop this soon okay?"

He didn't need to. Lillian hated this, no one should deal with this.
