As if on cue, both of their doors open. "Good afternoon my lady, are you ready for your experiments?" The doctor purred to her. They didn't give her time to answer, tying a gag around her mouth and binding her with cast iron chains, making her scream in pain.

The doctors grabbed his arms and dragged him to a different room, locking him into a chair. An Augustine doctor walked in. "I'll keep this nice and short. We're going to ask you a series of questions and if you lie or refuse to answer, well…" On the other side of the glass, there was another chair which they locked his now wife into, took a solid block of cast iron, and touched it to her neck, making her scream. "Then she'll be tortured."

Ryan struggled against his restraints and never broke his angry eye contact with the doctor. He wondered if compulsion would work from a distance.

The handler doused the block in holy water and once again touched her with it, her screams of pain echoing off the walls. When it was pulled away, her skin was burned raw and red which was only made worse by the salt from her tears streaming down her face.

The doctor smiled. "Isn't it obvious? We want whatever information you two have and then we want you dead. You two are dangerous. We're just protecting the rest of the world."
