Lillian smiled softly when Darren finally looked her in the eyes.

Paige covered her mouth with her hand, her eyes tearing up again. "Lilly…" she whispered.

Paige just nodded closing her eyes. Her hand still covered her mouth.

Lillian's eyes closed as she held back tears. This is why she didn't tell people. She didn't want to be seen differently for something her parents did.
