"Sorry, just a thought. My brain makes those sometimes," Not that he was in the mood for anything other than intense cuddling, it was fun to mess with her.
Lillian slowly started to cool down. A slight breeze picked up and went straight through her jacket, cooling her quite immediately, "Okay. Yeah your brain does that sometimes."
He kissed her neck softly, her skin was still cold. He pressed a little closer.
Lillian shuddered at the kiss to her neck. She pulled closer to him.
He sighed happily against her skin, his mind was taken away from everything bad and replaced with thoughts of her.
Lillian felt a shiver run down her spine. She really needed to get over her neck sensitivity. Or at least get it under control.
It was only fair that she had a sensitive neck when his sensitivity was just as easy use against him.
Their sensitivity's balanced out in the end. She was completely removed from the date and everything associated with it. All that was in it was Darren.
He felt successful in knowing that she wasn't so depressed about her birthday. "How about we decorate that snowman and then watch movies and drink hot chocolate?"
Lillian nodded subtly, “That sounds amazing.”
"Perfect," he pulled back and placed a kiss on her lips before walking inside, "What're you waiting for?"
Lillian grinned as she followed after getting a head of him, “You.”
He sighed and went to the closet, "Why do I even own a tophat?! It's so weird but handy for snowman making,"
Lillian laughed, “Because maybe someday you wanna be all fancy like.”
"Maybe I should be more fancy like," he grabbed a scarf and the hat and skipped outside. "WAIT! DO WE HAVE CARROTS?!"
Lillian shrugged with a laugh, “I don’t know.”
"Check the fridge?"
“Got it,” Lillian walked to the fridge and opened the door. She pulled out a carrot, “And we do!”
"Okay, bring it out!"
Lillian ran back outside with the carrot. She presented it to Darren, “See! A carrot!”
"Carrot!" he whispered as he took it from her.
Lillian giggled as she looked at their snowman, “A carrot nose.”
"Yup, do you wanna put the nose on? I'll get the hat and scarf…"
“I can do that,” Lillian took the carrot from Darren and pushed it gently into the center of the snowman’s head.
"Perfect," he threw the hat on it's head happily. "I think the reason I own that is just for snowmen…"
“Well it finishes it off,” Lillian said with a smile, “So hot chocolate and a movie?”
"Yes please!" He wrapped the scarf around their snowman and wandered back inside.
Lillian walked back inside grinning like an absolute madman. She took off her coat and hung it on the rack.
Darren had already taken his wet coat off and wandered upstairs to change out of his snow covered pants.
Lillian’s pants weren’t uncomfortably wet, so she left them on. Still she followed Darren upstairs like a little lost puppy.
