"Mmm… am I supposed to stay still or walk around? T-This is painfully boring… and painfully painful…"

"You're supposed to sleep," Lillian let out a small chuckle.

( well I guess my partner left)

"But I caaaaan't…. do I really just have to sit here for days on end? Save getting up to throw up…"

Lillian nodded, "Yep, but then you feel better."

"Well, I'm gonna stand up. I don't care what… whoever says…" Lloyd stood up and began walking, but quickly got lightheaded and dizzy. He fell over, groaning. "I just wanna walk! Is that so much to ask, fickle human illness?"

Lillian walked over to Lloyd and helped him back to the couch, "It's not the illness. It's your body, ignore it and it'll get worse. Take care of it and it'll get better."

"Tell my body to get over itself! I've got… things to do, I dunno… school… and stuff…" Lloyd stared at the ceiling. "I-I wanna go home…"

Lillian looked at Lloyd, "I can't make you get over something inside of you, but you could visit home?"

"B-But I can't… they… t-they think I'm dead…" Lloyd turned away, his eyes brimming with tears.

Lillian gave him a hug, "I know. And that's awful. You're alive."

Lloyd hugged Lillian, tears rolling down his cheeks. Pull yourself together… it's been years, get over yourself… don't let her see you cry, it'll just upset her…

Lillian moved her hand to Lloyd's head, "Go ahead cry. I'm not going to judge."

“Listen I didn’t mean to upset you or anything…” Brody yelled after her.

Lloyd hesitated, but he was already crying. His wings drooped as he hugged Lillian, having given up on stopping himself from crying.
(Then Darren walks in like wtf did I miss??)

Cameliea turned around," she saw him running after her and she flinched as he arrived in front of her. She quickly collected herself… "S-sorry… I just…augh.." she hung her head

(Lol. Wonder if we'll see protective Darren or jealous Darren? Hmmmmmm.)

Lillian just held him. Being his support as he cried.

(Ya know, Lillian's probably more like Lloyd's older sister than adopted mother)
Lloyd eventually pulled away, trying to wipe the tears from his face. "I-I'm sorry… I just… I-I get… homesick sometimes… I-I remember what it was like a-and how I got here… and… a-and how much pain I've c-caused my family…" He looked up at Lillian sadly, taking a few shaky breaths.

Darren walked in the house with 3 different kinds of Gatorade, a loaf of bread, and some saltines. "Hey, guys– What's going on?" He said looking at the two?

"D-Does it though? Not everything c-can be resolved by just waiting… M-My family thinks I'm d-dead, and there's nothing I can do…" Lloyd inhaled sharply, trying to control his breathing.

"It's fine. You're fine" Brody smiled, "I''m sorry…"

" No, It' my fault I should ha-" Camelia felt her phone buzz she got it out of her pocket and read a text from her dad, her face went pale…" I-I" she turned towards the school exit, "I have t-to go..by Brody.." and she bolted down the hall
