He went back to his unpacking, thinking about if it was even worth making friends with a dead man.

She lit her cigarette, taking a long drag and letting it go slowly, watching the smoke curl up towards the ceiling. "Ahhh, sweet sweet nicotine, fill my veins and make me strong."

"All that does is weaken you and give you cancer," Cooper laughed.

"Too late! I've been smoking for 3 years now and I'm still not dead. Wait, yes I am, but it wasn't the cigarettes that killed me."
