He pulled her air mask up and pressed their lips together for what he thought would be the last time. His tears dropped on her face.

Her attention was pulled from the growing light to the warmth and pressure of something against her lips. It took a minute, but she recognized it. "Please…don't leave me…don't leave him…" She heard her sister sob. But the light was so inticing. "Come home, child, come home." It called. Her heart rate dropped again, she was almost gone.

He pushed up into her with his lips, humming happily.

Once again, it slowed. There was only one beat every 6 seconds. "I…" Her voice was weak, barely even audible. "I…love you…too." The light beckoned her again and she finally listened. And what she considered the worst sound in the world sounded again. A flatline.

Ryan let out a hollow scream into Belles lifeless shoulder. He couldn’t see much less breath through his heavy crying.

The doctor heard it too and winced. He'd seemed so in love with her, what could've caused her to do this? "Please…no…she can't be gone…" Jasmine's voice was weak and watery.

“She’s gone,” he he yelled. He didn’t let her body out his his hug, it would take a lot to pry him away.

A squad of doctors rushed in. "Sir, sir, you have to let go of her." A nurse gently placed her hand on his shoulder.

“No,” he sobbed, “I can’t leave, I said I’d never leave,”
