"You're welcome. So get some sleep," Lillian said in a soft voice. As if that would put him to sleep.

Darren nodded and closed his eyes again, "Sorry," he mumbled as if he had to be sorry for not feeling well.

"Well did you make sure you checked it well? You know how the government likes to dig through that,"

@ShadeStar

"It's perfectly fine," Lillian responded. She yawned and closed her eyes, "I'm not falling asleep until you are."

@Elder-God-Jacks347

'Yes because the government wants to look through my soap opera trash, right?'

He groaned a little and tried to calm his aching, shaky body.

“Absolutely! They wanna know everything!”

@ShadeStar

Lillian rubbed his back with her hands. She tried to soothe him as much as possible.

She pressed her hand over her mouth. 'Stop it! Don't make me laugh. Laughing hurts. A lot.'

He pulled his shaking down to occasional twitching. He wouldn’t let this take him over.

“Sorry,” he rolled his eyes , “I’ll stop being funny,”

@Elder-God-Jacks347

She frowned slightly. 'Just until I get my voice back, okay? Serious people bore me.'

@ShadeStar

Lillian smiled slightly, she didn't want him to control it completely. At the same time he shouldn't try too.

“Yeah I wouldn’t stand a chance being serious all the time,”

@Elder-God-Jacks347

She smiled and kissed his cheek. 'Good!'

“How long until your throat allows you to speak,”

@ShadeStar

(Okay night!)

Oh it was way too late for that. Lillian was used to her own shit, and worrying about Darren was something she was quite used to by now.

@Elder-God-Jacks347

“How long until your throat allows you to speak,”

'Not sure. Could take a few days. But that's doubtful.'

He didn't mind someone looking out for him every now and again and how could he complain? It seemed all he ever did was worry about Lillian so not letting her worry wouldn't be fair, would it?

"Wow, hopefully the Ibuprofen will take the swelling down,"

@Elder-God-Jacks347

(Crawls up from the pits of hell I live bitches!)

@Elder-God-Jacks347

'Hopefully. But that's in a worst case scenario, it probably won't take that long. I hope it doesn't, I don't want to have to deal with your complaining.' She smiled a little.
