Darren sat down in a chair and just waited it out.

Lillian looked at Darren. She said quietly, "But what if he's not? I messed up."

A doctor came out and the whole group rose in unison. "You can go in by him now if you'd like." The doctor said in a soft voice as she gestured toward the door.

Lillian looked at Darren. She said quietly, "But what if he's not? I messed up."

"It's not your fault, Lillian."

"You guys go.." Stormy said.

Stormy wrapped his arms around Paige and kissed her back. Tears were streaming down his face and he didn't know what to do. First Kai, then Paige, now Lloyd. He felt like he was drowning and he couldn't swim to the surface. "Please help me Paige." He said, "I can't do this anymore." Stormy sobbed into her shoulder.

"I thought it was you. I was so scared. Don't scare me anymore," she said, stroking his hair. "It's fine, I'm fine, Lloyd will be fine, and your cousin is fine. He was suffering, but he's better now, I promise."

Lloyd was conscious, but confused. He seemed to have no memory of the incident or how he had ended up in a hospital.

Lillian looked at Darren. She said quietly, "But what if he's not? I messed up."

"But it is," Lillian sighed, "I'm the one who let him get on the stage instead of staying in the seats."

"You didn't make him do anything. We were starting rehearsal, we went up on stage, he got nervous I guess. But you didn't make him do a thing." Darren held her at a distance so he look her in the eyes.
