Darren was low on money from yesterday but he knew an expensive place where he could get free Italian food. “Yeah, I do. Do you know where Maggianos is?”

(Seriously I went to bed and when I came back you guys wrote five freaking pages)

(I have nothing better to do… I have no life…)

(I had church)

(And sleep)

(I didn't have church today, I usually have that though. I also don't have school tomorrow so I'll be here continuing to have no life…)

(Ha I finished school on tuesday so I can just not have a life for a while)

Lillian's mother hummed, "Of course I know where it is. You're paying no?"

"Yeah, I'm paying," Darren replied trying to make his voice sound kind despite his hatred for the woman.

"Who're you talking to?" Lloyd came into the room, seemingly making something. He had some clay in his hands, and was absently creating… something. Even he wasn't sure what it'd be yet. Perhaps an arrow. He'd never had a physical arrow before.

The women smiled, "What time do you want to meet up then sweetie?"

Darren turned around still holding the phone to his ear. He waved at Lloyd.

"umm-" Darren checked his watch that read 10:24, "Does 11 work for you?"

Lillian's mother looked at her own watch, "Of course. I'll see you then dearie."

She hung up and went on her merry way.

"Okay, can you tell me who you were talking to now? Or is that information classified?" Lloyd started to form the clay into a thin arrow.

Darren threw his phone down on the bed and moved to his closet. He decided if he was doing this he was going to look presentable. He found a navy blue button-down shirt. He took off his current t-shirt and put it on. He then turned to Lillian, "Presentable enough?"

Lillian nodded. She hated the idea, but it was arguably the best one they had, "You look perfect."

"Thanks…" Darren smiled, "I should go then."

(Lloyd stands awkwardly as Darren ignores him. QwQ y lmao)

Lillian grabbed his hand and looked into his eyes, "Please promise me you'll be careful."
