School RP? (Closed)

Jason drowses to sleep listening to her as he snuggled closer. Milo knocks softly before entering.

"Shh," she says, looking down at Jason and smiling brightly. "Come in," she whispers.

Milo enters quietly, setting the things down and smiling as he sits down at her bedside.

"What's that?" she asks, not able to see it over Jason.

"A bowl and toast." he answers, chuckling softly.

"But I'm not hungry," she says quietly.

"Just in case, love." he says gently.

"Fine," she says, leaning her head back. "Tell me a story?" she asks.

Milo starts, "A story? Well… what story do you want?" he asks.

"Make one up," she says smiling up at him. "A love story," she adds.

Milo gulps. He was never good at stories. He hums, "Well…" He chuckles, "Long ago, there was a knight. He spent days searching for a quest. He was strong, a bit sarcastic and a gentleman. He enjoyed sword fighting, but preferred peace. One day, he saw a maiden, fair, beautiful and kind." he pauses to kiss her forehead. "His thoughts were only this, "She is my new quest." He hurried off, hoping to win her heart somehow. But, when he was going to approach her, he lost his courage. Until he saw her in distress. Alas, she had lost her precious ring. He found it, there, glinting on the ground. Kneeling before her, he handed her the ring. The fair maiden had noticed him as well."

"That's so beautiful," She says, smiling. "What happened next?" she asked.

He hums in thought. "Well, as time rushed by, he quickly fell in love with the maiden. Everything about her made him smile. One day he came to her, admitting his feelings. She agreed and he swept her in his arms, pulling her into a tight embrace." He smiles, "The two were happy, and they planned on staying that way."

"Awe I love that story," she says, smiling brightly.

Milo chuckles softly, kissing her forehead.

Saffi coughs into her arm and sighs. She looks up at him. "I love you," she whispers.

"I love you too." He hums, smiling as he gently plays with her hair.

"We have school tomorrow," she says sadly.

"Sadly…" He mutters, shaking his head. He sighs softly, looking around.

"I don't wanna go…" she whispers.

"Me either." He hums, kissing her forehead.

"Do we have to…?" she asks hopefully.

"If you have a fever, possibly." he says after a moment.

"Ugh, this sucks," she says, sighing.

Milo hums, hugging her gently. "Being sick really does suck, love."

"It really does," she says.

He hums, holding her gently to his chest. He kisses the top of her head.

She wraps her arms and him and buries her head in his neck.

He runs his hand through her hair absentmindedly, humming softly.

"I could lay here all day," she muttered quietly.
