Sci-Fi RP with my character Ellis (CLOSED)

Ellis slid into the pilot's seat and flipped a switch. The ship started to hum. "Might wanna strap yourself in, fellas."

Ellen hopped into a chair and started fumbling with the buckle.

conner gets in and straps himself in "ready when you are sir."

Mariko shrunk back into the control room, headset on. "It's all clear, Captain." she said, shining her flashlight into a few dark corners and double checking every wire.

Ellis smiled. "Alright lifting off!" He pulled the wheel up and the ship slowly rose into the air.

Seth sat down and secured the straps. "Do you think we might be able to find a puppy in Aura? Perhaps a kitten? If not, I could use some materials for my newest design." she asked.

She finished buckling as she felt her stomach drop.

"Let's do kitten. They're good at catching pests."

Ellis shrugged. "As far as I know, those kind of resources are scarce because of the light."

"Come again?"

"Well the thing is, that on Aura, there's no sun. It's a rogue planet so it drifts around." He held a finger up. "Don't worry, there are other sources of light on there."

"Okay cool. I've never been there." Ellen said, staring out the window.

conner pipes up with enough enthusiasm he practically glows "COOL!"

"I've been there 5 times to visit friends." He turned. "By the way, you better wash up before we get there because you are filthy."

"Well, no puppies. That's disappointing. I hope we can still find some of the materials I need."

"yes sir." conner walks to the shower room to get clean.

"Thanks I take pride in it." Ellen said, sarcasm obvious. "Do you got something clean to wear too?" She asked, tugging up the collar flap of her coverall.

She chewed on the tip of her pencil and leaned back into her pillow, staring at the small, circular window that seemed a whole lot bigger.

Ellis nodded. "Awhile back I had a family of six on here and they left some of their little girl's clothes on board. She was about your age."

"M'kay. Better not be stinkin' pink or a dress." She said. "Couldn't I just clean what I'm wearing?"

"Sure but that'll take awhile." He glanced at her. "Considering."

She poked her tongue out. "Not my fault the sanitation at Praxidis station is screwy."

He rolled his eyes. "How long have you been there anyway?"

"Uuuuhhhh." She looked up and counted on her fingers. "Maaaybeee… 3… no, 4 years? Yeah, 3 and a half years, cus I was 8ish when I got there."

"Shit, man. That sucks. But you're with us now, and we're gonna take care of you." Seth said to Ellen. "You're apart of the pack, now, little lady."

Ellis nodded. "Wow that's pretty long."

"Hoorah." Ellen said, pressing her face against the window, looking at the stars and nebulae.

conner exits the showers dressed in his chef's clothes

Ellen twisted around in her seat. "Okay, now that Papyrus is done, where's the extra clothes?"
