Basil looked around, "So explain why you are here." He asked the girl that was across from him.

Val saw the raven react and surprisingly relaxed slightly. “Ok that’s like definitely a shifter, right,” she mumbled looking over at the boy. “Oh and like I said I’m bored”

he looked at her and quickly acted like he didn't know. "Um, what aren't they illegal."

Raven tried to just act like a normal raven. She tried to look on the ground for human food.
She thought she messed up. He might start suspecting her. “Well yeah but like a lot of things are illegal. It doesn’t mean they don’t excist,” she half joked still looking up at the raven.

He nodded then looked around and noticed that another patrol was going to walk down the street and maybe check the alley for people hiding in the shadows.

Killian shifted into a dog and walked into an alley. He saw two people standing there

Raven started cawing at the new dog that had just appeared. She hoped that it wasn't a guard dog. Those things can smell shifters in there form.

Basil started backing down the alley, knowing the patrols would come soon.
Val looked at the dog as it came closer. She wanted to just shift and run away but the boy would see her. She saw a ladder of a fire excape and started to climb it.

Raven started backing up as well. Being in raven form was not the best form to be in when there was a guard dog.

Basil ran to the end of the alley quickly. at the end he shifted to his Leopard form and crashed through a window of the abandoned building.

"So he IS a shifter!" Raven thought flying after him.
Once people seemed to leave, killian shifted into his human self, bringing out his ears.
Val made it half way up when she looked down. She saw the dog turn into a human. She nearly fell but then turned into a bird so she could just fly down and then transformed back.

He landed on the floor and realized how bad that decision was. Quickly he laid down on the floor and tried picking glass out of his fur. It was like the whole window shattered in him.
Killian allowed bear claws to appear instead of his hands and growled in her direction “who are you.”

Raven looked at the boy, well now leopard, pulling glass out of himself. She hopped over to him and started to help him pull glass out of himself.

He growled as he felt the glass being pulled from him. He knew if he became human now it would be worse.
Val looked at the boy and her eyes widened. “I’m Val I didn’t know we can do that,” she said looking at his paws.
“Wait you’re shifter?” He asked surprised

Raven turned back into a human. "Calm yourself. If you keep growling you'll get us both found." She said as she gently pulled glass out of him.

Basil flinched and held back his growls. slowly he tried to relax his body, knowing if he was tense he would bleed more.

"That's it. Calm down." She said.
“Wait you’re shifter?” He asked surprised
”Oh um yeah I am, ” Val said still shocked. She's never met another shifter. Well unless you counted that raven who she knew had to be a shifter.

Basil shut his eyes and kept calm.
“I’ve never met another shifter! Have-have you eaten anything today?” He asked, makin his normal hands appear

After Raven had got all the big pieces out she turned back into a raven to get the smaller pieces out.

Basil made sure to not get mad, he didn't want to tear this person apart.
Val looked at the boy a little suspicious. ”umm no why?” she asked.
