"Mhm." He answers. "He always cooks. He says it's a stress reliever."

"Okay, I'm getting up." Max rolled off his bed and got ready, putting on his glasses and walking into the kitchen. "Hey."

Velius looks up, "Morning." He says lightly.

"I'm supposed to be the one cooking." He said as he pushed up his glasses.

He chuckles, "I just enjoy cooking. Is there something wrong with that."

"No, but you're the guest."

"So?" He asks curiously.

"I'm supposed to be the one that's cooking, not you."

"We can both cook. You're welcome to help me." He says lightly.

"Then I have to wake up earlier and I'm not an morning person." He yawned slightly and glanced at the clock.

He chuckles, "No need. The least I can do is make breakfast."

"Fine, I'm making dinner then."

Velius chuckles, "Deal."

Max sighed then flopped down on the couch.

Velius hums as he cooks softly.

Max looked around for James.

James had fallen asleep on Max's bed.

Max quickly closed the door again, letting James sleep. "He fell asleep again."

Velius chuckles, "He hates early rising." He says quietly.

"Just like me." He said with a slight laugh.

Velius laughs gently. "Yep."

"Yay, I'm not the only night person!"

He laughs lightly, "Apparently not."

"So, what do you want to do while he's sleeping?" He asked.

"Mmm, I'm up for anything." Velius says casually.

"Same here."

Velius smiles and hums quietly.

Max flopped down on the couch and went on his phone to look for jobs.

He continues to make breakfast, his mind humming.
