(James is coloring on the floor…………..)
Max glanced at the clock and looked around. "I don't know, James, I'll call him," He took out his phone and went through his contacts, trying to find Velius. He quickly picked Velius' number and called him, holding the phone to his ear.
Velius' phone went to voicemail after the second ring. James sits up looking up at the other, before sitting next to him.
Max sighed and ended the call, glancing at James. I can't leave him and go try to find Velius, but I don't know who to call so they can take care of him.
James leans against Max tiredly. He yawns softly and rubs his eyes.
"Do you want to go to bed?" Max asked
James nods and leans against him tiredly.
"Okay then," Max smiled at him and picked him up, heading towards James' bedroom.
James holds onto Max tiredly sighing quietly.
Max walked into James' bedroom and lowered him onto the bed.
James fell asleep seconds after he hit the bed, nuzzling into the covers.
Velius screams in pain, blood running down his body, his eyes shut. He was beaten bruised and in pain. Him, a trained assassin captured. It wasn't plausible, and yet…
Max sighed in relief when James fell asleep and he quickly went back into the living room and put on his converse. He quickly walked out, locked the door and looked around for clues that might help him find out where Velius is.
Another electric shock ripped through his body, making him scream louder, his voice giving out. He sobs in pain, bowing his head.
The only thing useful was the phone tracker leading to V's old home.
Max followed the phone tracker to where ever it was leading him.
V screams as he's left with no strength, bleeding and broken. The man before him laughs violently.
Max quickly made it to V's old home and heard a scream, which was followed by a laugh, coming out of the home, he burst the door open and was shocked to see Velius all bloody and bruised. He then looked at the man that was laughing and glared at him, walking over to Velius. He bent down in front of Velius and he glanced at all the bruises and blood. "What happened?"
Velius chokes on his own blood, staring in horror when he sees Max. "Get out…" He whispers. "Baby, please. Run!" He gasps. The man chuckles. "Ah, so this is the lucky one?"
"Velius, I'm not leaving you with this man," Max replied, glaring heavily at the man.
The man smirks. "I was counting on that." He replies. V shakes his head, clutching desperately to Max. "Get out… please, baby. He wants you. Get out." He sobs.
"Velius. No. I'm not leaving you," He muttered, standing up and glaring at the man. "So, why do you want me?" He asked.
"Honestly, seeing his lover in pain would be more than seeing him in pain. It would break the pathetic assassin both mentally and as you can see, I've already hurt him physically." The man replies.
"And why do you want to see my lover in pain?" He asked. He wasn't going to lose Velius in the same way he lost his family.
"Simple really. He destroyed my life. He killed my wife and only son." The man sneers. "I want him to taste how it feels to lose someone he loves." He lunged and Velius pushed Max out of the way with all his might, the dagger digging into his side. "Run." He moans softly, falling to the ground.
Max fell onto the ground and watched Velius get stabbed. He quickly got up and grabbed the man's wrist, twisting it backwards. "I'll make sure you regret touching Velius," He growled, kneeing him in the gut.
The man cried out, wincing. Velius' breathing was ragged and uneven.
Max kneed him a few more times and kept twisting his arm. "So, are you still going to try to hurt Velius?" He asked, glancing at Velius every so often to check if he was okay.
The man growls before throwing Max off. Velius was loosing a lot of blood.
Max realized Velius was losing a lot of blood and he quickly picked up the other, running out the house and to the nearest hospital.
Velius groans as he's carried. "Thanks." He whispers weakly, resting against Max.
Max glanced at him and smiled slightly. "Anytime," He muttered, resting a kiss on his forehead.
V shuts his eyes, sighing tiredly.
