North gasped as he turned back into himself,he (hes a shape shifter btw) tripped over a chair and stumbled backward into a wall. "Sorry..bout..that.." He half-shouted.
Kaida heard a crash against the wall and bounded over to the noise. It had come from the other side. "Are you okay?" She yelled back, hoping he could understand her language.
Sean followed the dragon to the source of the noise then opened the door for himself and the dragon "Are you okay" he asked the person
Hawkin was confused. He was hearing crashes, and rumbles from the room above him. He muttered to himself, "I swear, if I have to go up there. I need my sleep. Misty kept me up all night. I hate a moody dragon…" Hawkin sighed, walked out of his room, and jogged up the stairs. He arrived at the room, where he heard seemingly sharp claws scratching on the floor. "What the heck is going on in there?" He muttered. Hawkin knocked on the door, hoping someone would answer it.
Kaida jumped a bit, looking up at the door handle. "Wow, I'm encountering so many people today," she chirruped, flapping her wings and hovering in front of the peephole. "Hello?" She asked, not knowing what else to do since she couldn't open the door.
Hawkin stepped back alarmed. He muttered to himself, "A dragon? But how? I understand all those chirps because of Misty, but I never thought I would use them when I was not talking to him…" He suddenly snapped back into reality. He chirped back. "Ummmmm… Hi? I'm Hawkin. I am in the room down below, and you guys are a little loud… Everything ok in there?"
Kaida was surprised. "You speak my language?" She exclaimed, flapping her wings a little harder and trying to figure out a way to open the door. "And to answer your question, I honestly don't know."
"Yeah, about the dragonspeak, I kinda have one, and he won't shut up. He taught me how to speak it. His name is Misty. He keeps telling me that Misty is a girl name, but no, he chose it himself. I figure that you're pretty small, and you can't open the door. Give me a moment… and there!" The door clicked open, and Hawkin walked in.
"I'm not that small," Kaida whined, settling down onto the floor and looking up at the guy. Her wings had already gotten tired.
"You're small compared to Misty. Your scales are really nice, ooh, and you're warm. Not like Misty. He's an ice dragon… Wanna ride?" Hawkin pointed to his shoulder.
"You're cold," Kaida countered. "And what do you mean a ride?"
Hawkin huffed. "I know I'm cold. I have an ice dragon. There is literally snow down in my apartment. I'm used to the cold though. I meant a ride by do you want to perch on me, or do you want me to carry you? You must be tired."
"Yeah, I am," she admitted. "My stupid wings can't carry me for more than a minute. They're way too big for my body."
Hawkin ran a hand through his hair. "You'll grow into them. I could help you out with some strengthing exercises in the meantime. Still, you want a ride?"
"I'm 20 years old already," she huffed. "And yes, I'd like a ride, thank you."
Hawkin picked Kaida up. "Hmmm. Misty is 21, and he's huge. He barely fits in my apartment. You must be a different type. Anyway, hope you don't fall, and let's see what's going on here. Hello? Is everyone ok in here?"
