You work as a superhero detective, solving mysteries and fighting villains for a living. One day, you come home, and there is a small person, 5 inches tall, sitting on your couch. "Hi, I'm Maggie, and I'm your new partner!" she says. You look stunned. You are used to crime lords and gang bosses and the Mafia, not tiny people. Maggie follows you everywhere, you can't seem to get rid of her, so you decide to accept her as your partner in crime fighting. But who exactly is Maggie, and why is she so small in the first place?

Age: Looks around her early twenties, she doesn't quite know.

Appearance: Five inches tall, a little on the skinny side, strawberry blonde hair to her mid-back, dark eyes, a slightly turned-up button nose. Looks a lot like the young Lalla Ward (Shown below)

Personality: ENFP-A. She is very determined, is always trying to prove herself. Once Maggie sets her mind to something, she gets it done. Optimistic, but still realistic.
Powers: (One major, two minor) Incredibly powerful empathic abilities, super strength, and more durability/agility/reflexes than the average person has.
Other: Dislikes mice and associated rodents.

Appearance: Bren originally had light brown hair, grey eyes, and pale skin. Now, he has dark brown messy hair, violet eyes that are slits, still pale skin but now with small scales that from afar look like freckles and very sharp teeth. His more unusual traits are his wings. They have the form of bat wings but have a protective layer of scales covering them, they resemble dragon wings somewhat. His arms and neck are completely covered in black scales, the scales framing his face. The scales are genetically engineered to cover his face like a mask in case of danger.
Personality: Bren is quite closed off, most likely due to years of abuse at the hands of others. He tends to be sarcastic and a bit snappy, often staying completely silent when someone makes fun of him
Powers: Wither and some emotion manipulation
Other: Bren just woke up one day with his changed appearance, he had always had his powers

Bren walked into his home quietly, trying not to wake up his dog. He set his bag down softly and made his way to the kitchen to grab a snack before going to the living room for paperwork. He stepped into his living room and gave a sound of surprise. "Who are you?!" He asks the small women sitting on his couch.

"Hi, I'm Maggie, and I'm your new partner!" Maggie said, beaming from ear to ear. "Now, any cases we need to work on? Don't worry, I'm highly reliable, just tell me what to do!"

"How did you get into my home?" He asked, calmer than he probably should be. He had faced worse, considering that his degree was forensic criminology.

"The mail slot. Quite an uncomfortable fall, but I've been in worse positions, don't worry." Maggie explained.

"Hmm, would you like a snack?" He asks, walking back into the kitchen but still keeping an eye on Maggie.

"Yes, please." she said, hopping down and following Bren.

"What would you like? Preferably something quick, I have some paperwork to do then we have a new case." He informed her, a bit cautious around her.

"Oh, anything really. I don't care what it is." she said cheerfully. "Something sweet, perhaps." Maggie mused.

"Okay." He said shrugging. "Would popsicles be okay? It is quite hot outside."

"Whatsicles?" she asked.

"Popsicles, they are juice that has been frozen."

"That sounds quite strange." Maggie said.

"It's a nice way to cool off after.." He trails off as he looks to his watch. "And we have a case."

"Well, let's go then. I'm all set to go, you?" she asked, walking over to his leg and climbing up it into Bren's pocket. "There, now it'll be easier for us to travel." she said, settling inside the folds of the fabric. "I'm going to take a quick nap, wake me when we get to the case "

Bren raised an eyebrow at this. "Just don't touch my skin." He said, grabbing his bag from its place and walking out the door.

"Hm, whatever." she murmured, dozing off.
