Sodapop and Cigarettes (1960’s teenager gang RP) OPEN

It’s the 1960’s in Asheville, Oklahoma, where black and white movies and new trends are nearly everywhere like in the rest of the Nation. Drive-ins and car races are daily reoccurrences, and there are the usual dates and rumors from school. Though, most of the town is divided into small gangs and cliques, and it’s nearly always frowned upon to be with anyone in a different group. The Socials (or the Socs) are at the top of the Asheville “pyramid,” and at the bottom are the Greasers. There has always been a developed hostile barrier between the different gangs and every once in a while, a few fistfights always break out.

Sexuality: Questioning
Appearance: Dark brown hair in messy dreads w/ shaved sides, dark brown eyes, medium-dark skin with red undertones, usually frowning, tall and narrow, with long and skinny limbs.
Usual clothing: Usually wears black sweaters and jeans.
Personality: He can be quite rude, but he's kind and loyal. He struggles with fear and is often torn between helping others, winning, or running away. He is fiercely competitive and strategic. He's a bit of a crybaby and gets flustered easily, which makes him angry. He's got a quick temper. He doesn't have a whole lot to say, but he isn't at all shy. He's opinionated and willing to fight 24/7.
Group/Gang: He's in a gang called the Grays (sucky name, I know), which is made up of minorities (Blacks, Hispanics, etc)
Quirks: Blushes when flustered. Loves reading.
Backstory: His father was killed in a skirmish between two very violent gangs and the police. For a while, Tasper assumed that it was his father's death was an accident –caught in the cross-hairs– but he learns that he was actually in the gang, and shot by the cops. Now Tasper has a personal vendetta against the two gangs and the police. He joined the Grays to eventually take his revenge.
Other: Is terrified of guns.

His skin is lighter with pale freckles on the bridge of his nose and on his shoulders. Icy blue eyes that can sometimes shift to a greyer color. Around 5’9/5'10 and lean/lanky.
Clothing: Usually in dark jeans and a lighter shirt. Always has his beat up converse on. Wears an old faded leather jacket.
Personality: Beau can be hostile and reserved at first, but he's sarcastic and laid back. He doesn't really take great care of himself and does not trust easily. Once he opens up, he's gentle and protective. Though, he can lose his patience and temper quickly.
Gang: Greasers
Backstory: His father had been part of a gang when he was alive and was an alcoholic and a drug dealer. One day, the police had come to his house to arrest his father. The officers thought that they were armed inside and shot and killed Beau's father and mother. Since then, he's been living in a rundown neighborhood and has been taking care of his brother, Lucky.
Quirks: Likes to make finger guns and sarcastic jokes.
Other: Smokes because of stress and anxiety. Usually has cuts on his hands that he covers with bandages. Always gets into fights.

Appearance: Short choppy black hair that turns dark purple at the tips, violet eyes, light brown skin, freckles, twin lightning tattoo on both her arms, as snake bite piercings in her lip, a piercing in her eyebrow, two cartilage piercings on her right ear and three in her left, and stands at about 5'6".
Usual clothing: A dark purple tank with a black leather jacket, ripped jeans, black boots, and gray fingerless gloves.
Personality: Ruthless, protective, sarcastic, and has a manipulative streak.
Group/Gang: She runs a low level gang called the Storm Chasers.
Quirks: Plays with her lip piercings and knife a lot.

Other: Rides a Harley Davison Motorcycle.
