"What's a dalek?" she asked, she had pretty good hearing so she caught what he said

"You don't- what era is this? Planet? Solar system?" The Doctor asked.

"I'm sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm The Doctor." he said. (She can ask "Doctor Who?" since all the other companions have. It's a thing.)

(It's why the show is called Doctor Who.)

"Doctor Who?" she questioned

"Just The Doctor, thanks. Who are you and what century is this?"

"Judging by the skimpy clothes this must be around the twenty first…. but I've been wrong before."

"Skimpy?! these are shorts and a t-shirt!" She exclaimed in outrage

"Erm…. no offense….. but as I was saying, are there any Daleks around?"

"I still don't know what your taking about but here are some R2-D2 things situated around the mall." she turned around and angrily walked away.

"Wait! Your life is in danger!" the Doctor shouted.

"Yeah Yeah, that's what everyone says. Like I know I'm dying, stop reminding me." She replied, angry tears streaming down her face.

"Please, you have to listen to me! Something bad has or will happen and I can't stop it alone! Please, just listen to what I have to say for one moment!"

What a Crazy man she thought. Finally she relented "What the sky is falling?" she rolled her eyes.

"It might, but the deadliest fire in the galaxy is coming first. I need help."
