Finn bit his lip slightly. “Sure but I need deodorant and you said you need some too so I’ll just grab that then we can go.”

Jay nodded. "Alright." he kept the boxers tucked under his arm as he followed Finn.
Finn went and grabbed a stick of deodorant. “What kind do you want?” He asked looking over at him.
Jay shrugged. "Doesn't matter all that much to me." he replied.
Finn nodded and grabbed the same brand as his own but a different scent. “Do you need anything else?”
Jay thought for a moment, then shook his head. "No. You've done too much already." he replied.
“It’s fine if you need anything at all I’ll get it. It’s really no trouble for me,” Finn tried to explain.
"No, it's fine. I'm fine." Jay replied quickly.
Finn nodded. “Ok but if you change your mind just let me know,” he said getting into line.
Jay nodded. "Okay. Thank you." He replied softly, standing beside Finn.
Finn payed and then walked out now with two bags. “Do you want to go to another store or are you hungry?” He asked.
Jay shrugged. "I don't really care either way." He replied. "I'm not really hungry, though." He glanced up at Finn.
“Alright I don’t need to get anything else. Do you want to go back to my place?” He asked walking directly next to Jay.
Jay shrugged a little. "I don't know." he replied slowly.
“Alright we can get going,” Finn said walking towards the exit. “I’ll make lunch when we get there.”
Jay nodded. "Alright." he said, staying beside Finn.
Finn got into his car. Waiting for Jay to follow. He was trying his best to make everything less awkward but he was failing.
Jay got in the car, and sighed softly. "Finn, I…" He bit his lip a little. He shook his head. "No, never mind."
He turned to Jay. "What's wrong?" He asked tilting his head slightly.
"Nothing. I'm just…" He shook his head a little. "I-I should talk to you about…stuff. Later."
Finn nodded hesitating slightly. “Ok,” she said starting up the car. “You can talk to me whenever you want.”
"Okay." Jay replied simply, buckling and biting his lip a little.
Finn buckled himself and started to drive. He put on the radio but kept his eyes on the road.
Jay was quiet, looking out the window.
Finn pulled up to his house. Going around back to the guest house. Digging for his keys.
Jay got out of the car once they stopped, and grabbed a bag, trying to be helpful.
Finn held the other bag. He unlocked the door and walked inside. Willow and Poppy were still not home. "Do you want lunch? I was thinking of grilled cheese or something," Finn asked placing the bag on the table.
Jay shrugged. "Sure. I uhm…" he fidgeted a little. "Can I talk to you now?" he blurted.
"Sure," He said walking over to the kitchen. "We can talk while I cook. I should be pretty fast." He took out the ingredients.
"Okay. I just…" Jay wasn't quite sure where to start. "So…" he bit his lip, thinking. "I-if things are going to continue the way they have been, at school…I don't know if I can do that. If I can deal with being pretty much ignored in class unless I show up beat to hell, only to meet up with you in the bathroom or the library later." he swallowed. "I just…for a really long time, meeting my soulmate has been my only dream. It kept me going when I needed something to hope for, and…" he sighed. "I'm having a hard time separating that from reality. And it isn't fair to you, and I'm sorry, but I don't know if I can do this."
