Jay nodded, and got out of the car, grabbing his backpack and putting it on. "Thank you, Finn." he said softly.

Finn handed him a card and got poppy out of the car. He put her backpack on her before taking her hand and then Jay’s. He kissed him on the cheek.

Jay took the card. He closed his eyes for a moment at the kiss, looking up at Finn.

Finn squeezes his hand slightly and walked into the hotel.

Jay walked beside Finn, holding onto Finn's hand.

Finn walked down the hallway and stopped in front of a door. He let go of Jays hand to unlock it.

Jay's cheek was bruised, and every time he moved his body cried out with pain.

Finn opened the door. there was one king- sized bed and a twin. Poppy went to the twin and immediately curled up. Finn closed the door and put the blanket over an already sleeping Poppy.
He turned to Jay and walked over. "Do you have any cuts?" He asked leading Jay to the king bed.

Jay sat down, shaking his head. "Just bruises." he replied softly, looking down at his hands for a moment, then up at Finn.

Finn nodded. "Can you take off your shirt? I want to see them and then I'll go get Ice down the hall," Finn said sitting next to him.

Jay nodded, pulling his shirt off. The bruising wasn't as bad as it had been the first time, but it was definitely there.

Finn nodded. he grabbed his bag and pulled out a bottle of pain killers and some cream. "Ok I'll get some ice. You should take two pills. Just grab a drink from the mini fridge. Ill be right back," he said kissing him on the forehead before standing up.

Jay nodded a little bit, and grabbed a drink, taking the two pills. "Alright. Thank you." he said softly.

Finn went in the hall with the ice bucket. he came back a few minutes later.

Jay had sat down on the bed again, and looked up when Finn came back in.

Finn put some ice in a baggy from his bag and surrounded it with a face cloth from the bathroom. He also took the cream out. "Lay down please," He whispered sitting next to him again.

Jay nodded, and lay down, looking up at Finn.

Finn carefully put some cream on his bruises. He then put the ice on his ribs.

Jay winced a little bit, shifting around a little.

Finn tried to be as gentle as possible. leaving the ice pack on his ribs. "Is that all that hurts?" He asked leaning down to kiss him on the cheek.

Jay nodded a little bit, looking at Finn. "I'm sorry." he said softly.

"You don't need to apologize," He said laying next to him.

Jay cuddled close, closing his eyes tiredly. "But I made you leave your house, and I'm n-not even hurt that bad, I-I…" tears pricked at his eyes again.

Finn tilted his head down to look at him. "It doesn't matter how bad you're hurt you're still hurt. I'll do anything to take care of you," He whispered. "I want you to be safe."

Jay opened his eyes, tears filling them as he looked up at Finn. "But it's not…I'm not…I'm not even worth it." he whispered, the tears spilling down his cheeks now.

Finn brought his hand up to cup his cheek lightly wiping the tears. "You are a hundred percent worth it," He whispered back. "I love you so much you dont deserve getting hurt. You are deserve everything that is amazing."

Jay closed his eyes again, leaning into Finn's hand. "But if your aunt finds out you could lose Poppy." he whispered. "Or…or your college, or something, and…I'm not worth all that, I'm really not, I'm just some s-stupid boy."

"You are not stupid," He said. "You are definitely worth it plus my aunt isn't going to find out." he rubs his cheek with his thumb.

Jay was still crying a little bit, tears making tracks down his face.

Finn wiped the tears away. "It's ok I love you and you're safe.," He said holding him closer.
