Space pirates and wormholes (Sci-fi group 2/3 :)

~Slightly based on the holy texts known as the illuminae files…

Following the illegal destruction of their home planet, and sent running to one of the escape ships, three (possibly four) ragged kids find themselves as roommates aboard a spacecraft trying to outrun a dangerous fleet of pirates.

Do I have a plot? No. But i'm open to any and all kinds of ideas here XD

Quick Backstory: His father died when he was ten, and he was abandoned by his abusive mother in the city. He lived there, until the attacks, and ended up onboard, being put as a medical assistant and on standby for offensive piloting duties. Has bad anxiety and PTSD

Quick Backstory: So Bailey was born in Kentucky, to two parents who had immigrated from china. His early to mid childhood was okay, with tensions rising, his parents tried to shelter him from the world…until they couldn't. Their home was raided by criminals, and his parents were killed in an effort to protect him. He fled the home, and boarded the ship. He is the main pilot of the ship, as he was the only one who had flown anything before. His father was a pilot, and taught him how to fly a plane. He is now trying to convert plane controls to spacecraft controls.

Ezra groaned, slowly sitting up as he tried to piece together what had happened. He was at school, the sirens went off, they started to evacuate, then….
He looked around at the rubble and limp bodies surrounding him. A bomb…. He thought, heart racing as he held a hand to his bleeding head. God, I have to get out of here!! His eyes flicked to the huge protector ship that was slowly descending to the planet. That was the way out. He just had to make it there. He started to run before he heard a cry for help not too far away. His conscious couldn't let him leave, so he changed his direction to the source of the sound

amaries cry fro help felt like a whisper, his leg trapped under rubble. every time he moved hed scream, his body trembling from pain and fear. amarie seen the ship, his last hope. but if he couldnt get unstuck hed never leave this god forsaken world

Bailey stood in the doorway of the ship, making one last check for potential crewmates. He had to leave in the next 10 minutes. It was to tell who was alive and who had died in the bombing. Suddenly, a boy burst up from the rubble. Blood trickled from his face…but other than that he seemed pretty healthy, from first examination, at least. "Hey! We're here to-" The boy was walking away from the ship. Toward a pile of rubble..? Suddenly, Bailey understood. He looked back to the beds, lined with other injured men and women. Hopefully, they would be okay. Bailey jumped out of the ship and dashed toward the rubble.

Ezra fiercely pulled away shards of the building that trapped the boy, freeing him enough to gently pull him out and over his shoulder. "It'll be alright! I've got you!" He yelled, voice rasping through the thick smoke that lingered in the air. He caught sight of another running towards them, thanking god that at least someone else cared. "Help!!"
