Alex sat nervously as the ceremony began. (Forgive me, I haven't read in like a year.) Names were called out, but it was all in a daze for her. Eyes bore down on her as if she had no chance of summoning one. Her Fathers eyes, were harsh, Do not fail me child. Those cold words scolded her.

Suddenly, Jonah's name was called. He took in a deep breath and walked up to the Elders. His hands were shaking.

Bright sun beating down on his back, Noeli stood tall and proud. Casting a glance at his parents behind him, glimpsing his mothers beaming smile. The Elders called his name, and he stepped forward, feet leaving dust behind him.

Avila took a deep breath and walked forward as her name was called. Confident as she was, this was still a nerve-wracking experience. She turned to smile tightly at her parents once before kneeling at the Greencloak’s feet. He went through the customary speeches before offering her the nectar. It was rich and sweet, almost like some sort of a sweet beef broth.

Alex Wickanl. The greencloak called out. She nervously got up from her seat, walked over and kneeled at his feet as he said some speeches. Before she knew it, she was drink the nector.
