A war is being raged in the country of Aston – a modern-day, America-like place – with the tyrannizing country, Oshax. A group of rebels, the Uprising, is not allowed to fight in it. One young woman (me) from the group goes in disguise and falls in love with a high-ranking officer. He eventually finds out who she really is, but spares her life because she once saved his. During the deciding battle, she defeats whoever needs to be defeated and wins the hearts of the country/city/whatever. All the hearts, including the officer's.
We'll come in right before my character joins the army.
