Frost nodded then did exactly that.

"Thanks!" He said cheerfully to Frost, holding out his hand for a high-five.

Frost high fived him, feeling a little better. Then her bag began to pulse,

(Just mixing things up..)

"Um Frost…? Your bag is acting weird.." He pointed to her bag, his eyes wide.

Frost looked down at her bag staring as the purple glow pulsed from it.. she pulled her bag put then knelt on the ground quickly pulling out a small cloth package.

Ryker crouched next to her, silently watching her bag to see what was going on.

Frost carefully opened the package extremely careful not to touch the contents. She stared as each piece of black violet and silver metal pulsed with an eerie glow.

"So, crazy glowing stuff?" Ryker asked, reaching out to touch the pieces.

"Dont!" She yelped slapping his hand away.

"Why not?" Ryker reached for it again, a small grin on his face.

Frost was terrified "Ryker!!" She yelled. "Its dangerous you nitwit!"

"How?" He asked, a goofy grin on his face "Frost, when I see something that looks cool, I obviously want to touch it, I'm basically a little kid."

"Touching that thing will kill you!"

Ryker groaned and pulled his hand away "Frosttttttttttt…"

Frost gaped at him. "Since when were you a childish idiot!?" She yelled at him

"You don't know me as much as you'd like," He said, trying to hide a small grin "For one thing, I don't do well with only a few hours of sleep, and second, I haven't eaten in almost..a day and a half?" He looked at the ground "Trust me, Cacey and Dax have had to deal with me when I was a lot worse.."

Frost looked stunned.." I.." she stammered… "can you please be a little bit serious? This thing isnt a toy it is- was a very very powerful weapon. And it's the thing that caused me to come to this world…" she said after regaining her composure.

Ryker nodded, the grin still on his face "I can try, sorry if I act like a spaz.." He looked at the glowing things again and sighed.

Frost called him a few nasty terms in old wolf before turning back to the glowing shards..
"Now why in the world would it be powering up now??" She asked of no one in particular "and why here?"

Ryker looked at the shards "I don't know, was it something you did?"

"It shouldnt have been me…" she said confused….. " there's no way I could…" she froze. Looking around she tried to find the source of that sensation.. the sensation of being watched… after a few moments she didnt see anyone.. but she felt like someone was watching her still…

(Sry, I fell asleep)
"You feel like your being watched?" He asked quietly, completely still as he glanced at the shards.

"You too?" she asked quietly… "Im not sure what it was… I thought it might be… but its different….."

He nodded slowly "I'll go check it out," He whispered, slowly standing up.

"wait" she said sitting up as a idea came to mind. " I just remembered something that might be causing this!"

Ryker nodded "Ok, what is it? but be quiet." He smiled and looked around, still looking for whoever was watching them.

"I think it might be the Chaosae Spirit…" she said softly,

"The what now?"He asked, slightly confused.
